Do you enjoy playing LoL anymore?

I've been playing this game for 4 years and I can't really say I became bored of it. I always like to play some League, whether it's to boost my ranked division or just to have some fun with my friends.

Of course I do! It's a game that I can generally find a lot of use for. I'm not really pleased by it since there are a lot of trolls and generally people who'd do anything to make your game a mess, but hey, every community is the same! Those who are saying LoL's got the worst community, clearly haven't played their games enough to make such statement, haha!

I love it, but I do not love it as much as I used to. Heroes of the Storm is slowly taking that slot, and not because I'm a blizzard fanboy or anything. It's legit fun, when Blizzard's servers aren't lagging or disconnecting you every 10 seconds. It's a breath of fresh air in the moba genre, and it feels streamlined - and with 8 maps to play on, and plenty of cross-universe champs like fighting Diablo against Malfurion is pretty fun. It's also more faster paced as well.

Not to say I don't mind LoL, but I've been here since Beta and I still enjoy it and play it every other day or so, but I find myself HOTS'ing alot.

Yeah, I do, but not just by playing like before. I've been playing for a long time now, so just playing meta champs over and over isn't exactly fun. I've made like ~3 friends in League, and if I go together with some more IRL friends we get a nice 5's team :) We take advantage of this to go trolly picks and not have everyone flame us, we lose most of the time if the players are equally skilled but it's fun.

Not really, the community's still as ragey as ever and it's one of the reasons I stopped playing a while ago.

Honestly, not really anymore. The people are extremely toxic now a days. You make one small mistake and you get yelled at like crazy! They rage so hard. Plus, lots of noobs afk too.

Honestly, I don't think HoTS is really that good. I think LoL is a much more advanced game than Heroes but I guess the latter it's at the start of the adventure. We shall see what happens next in the E-sports scene! :D

Lately, I only like to play 5s with my friends. Once in a while, I'll put in 1-2 ranked games, but I prefer solo q-ing, which sometimes brings out toxic people and makes League a nightmare. I do love watching LCS and I love playing ARAMs because they're a bit more casual. I think a lot of people play for the rank rather than the fun nowadays. :(

Advanced? I don't think so. Fun? Yeah, LoL is more fun still. The game is still quite new yet - that being said, it offers unique and separate images of the MOBA genre. IT has faster paced lane experiences (ala ARAM or DOM style) and more small-team battles between objectives on each of the 8 maps, which if you don't collect the side objectives can lead to defeat - this makes it more advanced. It's not just Baron or Lane Phase from LoL - these objectives will send extra strong mercs at walls/turrets, or simply collapse them down (cannonballs, Garden Terrors, Dragon Knights). It's not just the jungle making a difference, or the lane phase lasting 20+ minutes before you see any action. To me, this makes it a more advanced game.

Now just because it's advanced further into objective based gameplay doesn't make it more fun though. Unfortunately, HAVING to do these objectives every single time or risking defeat is not ideal, and sometimes adds un-needed pressure, from where I would simply watch the minimap in League or understand where people were, there's just so much chaos going on at different hand in points. Like I said, it's "Dominion or ARAM" based fastness, and you have to play like it 24/7 and read the objectives. They give timer countdowns so it's not like it's hard persay; but it just adds that pressure of, "THE OTHER TEAM IS GETTING IT!" like a Baron or Dragon, only it's not just gold or a buff -it's pushing their walls and turrets down quicker, so everyone scrambles to fight over them. This presents itself in a large problem a lot of people queuing up for games don't recognize these side objectives and just lane all game like it's LoL or DOTA, and they miss objectives, feed, or never join teamfights. And the reason I call these people IDIOTS? Every loading screen in HOTS tells you WHAT you need to do on the map. It's not like you go in blind. Most people just ignore the splash art between loading screens and goes DUH WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE DUH.. I wanna reach through their PC and choke them with mine own two hands for wasting my time!

Honestly, I think starting with Q/W/E and waiting on R is the way to go. Starting with all three base skills levels the playing gap between the opponents - this is why I like ARAM and DOM so much. That gap between 1 and 3 with only having Q is agonizingly slow for no reason and payoff whatsoever. It adds like 10 minutes to a game that doesn't need to be there. You don't need to count minion lifebars (creep scores) until level the 10 minute mark in LoL - in HOTS -you start from the word go! I like that.

That being said, I still play a crap ton of both games. I still like their respective games for respective reasons. The only gripe I have with HOTS is they need optimization, since they built it on the StarCraft 2 engine that was notorious for glitches, lag, and dropouts - and HOTS still experiences that. If they fix that, I know they'll be top in the Esports right alongside LoL if not ranking higher just due to all the Blizzard fanboys who will jump at the opportunity.

Honestly I'm still really into lol but my family has recently started playing and I feel like it's kind of ruining the game for me. I know that that is a terrible thing to say but they can ruin a perfectly good game for absolutely no reason. I will say something like "wait I'll be there in five seconds" and they'll just run in and either die or scare our opponent away so we don't get any kills, which is pretty frustrating. It wouldn't bother me at all if they were just bad players but it's not that, they just don't want to listen because they're not into teamwork and I find that really frustrating.

Played five more Doms and an Aram and still can say, F YEAH, I like LoL.

Mantheon OP as heck. Anyone who block two attacks back to back and always crit should be reworked. Sexy Spartan. I'd say about still 70% win rate over the course of 250ish Mantheon runs on DOM.

I always enjoy playing LOL but only because I haven't bought all the characters yet. Also, I want all the runes and be good at all the masteries. I project in 5 years time I can completely master the game and that's not even considering the new champions they'll be putting in.

I don't stop having fun, I just have more or less fun depending on if I'm always with randoms or friends. Same could be said of any video game; truly. However, over time the seasons and all the buffs/nerfs/changes, it does not feel like the game I signed up for. This is neither good nor bad, because a game HAS to evolve with the times or it gets left behind. I just remember those golden oldie days with kind fondness.

I don't play as often as I used to, but it's still fun to play from time to time. LoL has a special place in my heart, or something like that.

No, I'm not bored but I'm less motivated than when I started. Now I just play 1 or 2 matches a day, sometimes if I am in the right mood even more but this happen really rarely.

I'm like Grinder; I'm sure I'll go back into days on days on days of LoL (or other MOBAs like HOTS and such) but those times "Come and go" and right now, I'm on the "Go" cycle. It hasn't came back around. I'll be back in full swing probably at the end of summer or when my living conditions get more solid. Until then, one or two games a day.

I've never really liked MOBAs, and I only started playing LoL because of wanting to play with a few friends. I played for a few weeks and never got too into it. I still play it every few weeks when I'm bored of all my other games, but it's only ever with those same friends. The tower defense and PvP aspects of MOBAs just never felt that fun for me.

Well kind of, there is moments when it just gets to frustrating. Also both of my duo partners are gone for the summer so not that fun to play alone, ranked grind can just get to be to much ya know? I've really cut back on my games now only about 3-4 a day maybe? When my boys get back in town I'll prob get back into it hard.

Not that much. I've started playing this game back in 2011, and ever since then I found only great moments, exempted from trolls and all that unpleasant stuff. But my interest for it decayed over time due to its repetitive nature. I've spent money on it, I played around 100 hours per total, but after some time... it's just not as pleasant.

Loved it at first, enjoyed watching videos of people playing and getting to know my way around through them. Then everything changed when the tedium of farming and people raging at each other and being paired with people who seem to enjoy prolonging a match for more than an hour just started to set in. The straw that broke my back (from sitting for too long) was having the utmost displeasure of watching someone being verbally racist on the chat after a loss. Quite done with MOBAs for now, but I do have my moments in this genre, and not just from playing League (Strife and Infinite Crisis being two other MOBA games I've played in the past).
