Personally, I like to spend some time watching LCS to see some of my favorite teams in action (I'm a Fnatic and Gambit fan). I also like to watch the Koreans play at OGN because their teams are extremely good and provides some really interesting games with unique champion picks and exciting gameplay.

I never understood the point. I'd rather play myself than watch others play... especially a game like LoL which to me doesn't appear to be too interesting to watch.

Honestly not really, I never understood how people can spend hours and hours watching other people play. Sure they're good but I definitely prefer playing myself and getting better.

Absolutely! I love seeing the competitive League of Legends. It really gets me psyched and also gives me a lot of good tips.

I usually watch big matches like the LCS, but if my team TSM is in any tournaments I usually try to watch them.

I try to catch as many LCS matches as I possibly can. I do like to watch IEM tournaments on top of that, especially if there are a few LCS teams in them. It's always interesting to see what pro players do in the game, and I find that I can learn a lot from watching them play. It also feels like watching sports in a way, I like to follow Gambit especially. Won't miss any of their matches.

Like other people have said, I'd rather be playing a game myself than watching someone else play. I've seen videos with great plays by LCS players, but I don't watch their games. It's far less fun than playing a game on my own.

I agree with you, it is more fun to play than to watch the same goes with sports as well, but as a sports fan will tell you it's still interesting to watch the sport just not as much as playing. So I think it's the same with eSports like League of Legends.

No even though I don't play the game, but if I did I don't think I could be bothered to watch other people play it's not my thing.

I usually only watch the "highlights" of a game because those are really fun to watch (like teamplays or ganks and all that) because seeing a top team play together is pretty awesome.

I did once, when one of the team that joined came from the place where I live. It was kind of like watching other sports events actually but I stopped after the team got defeated.

I must say I do. Sometimes its more interesting than actually playing the game. I take some chips and watch it, I can literally watch it for hours :D

TSM! My friends and I like to tune in and watch LCS when it's on, especially when TSM is playing. If everyone wasn't off at college, we'd probably be getting together like normal people do for sports (hey, e-sports ARE still sports). It's always exciting to watch the pros go at it, seeing how they really perform against other teams and team comps. I am however a little bored of the stale champion picks over and over. We need a new meta!

I agree about the same champion picks! Thats the best thing about new seasons though, its the time when top picks are changed the most! But I feel with Riot, it seems almost impossible to balance the game which has so many champions and make them all good enough for the pro scene. Every season will simply have the most popular characters and you cant do anything about it! :)

I do like when they pull out the special picks. Warwick, Teemo, Xerath I think was played as well, and the rest that are completely out of the standard champion pool are just hilarious to see. Did you see the Urgot/Soraka bot lane? I forget who was playing but it was the most beautiful thing I've seen.

Havent seen that pick but I love when they take some random crazy pick in the tougher tournaments. All the commentators are like what? And then they show a new great strategy and win.

Exactly. And then you start seeing them in normals, and just want to cry because they're either really strong or you're just not prepared for them.

Earlier today I tried watching a few videos to give it a chance and find out if I was missing out on something, but for me watching two different videos I was not motivated to watch more.

At the moment there is a live stream on the challenger series: http://en.twitch.tv/riotgames
Meet Your Makers[MYM] vs Cloud 9 Eclipse[C9E] are playing at the moment. It will be an interesting match I recommend it. Since it's challenger series it should be bo3, but I'm not sure on that.
