Do you like the new HUD?

I haven't played since the last update, so I'll need to try it first. But I just read up on it; what it looks like; and what it offers. Definitely make sit more streamlined. I can enjoy that. Less space being taken up by a HUD = the better. The more I can see without some type of graphical overlay is also helping FPS, as well.

If they meant streamlined, I can also see them trying to effect their particle system next on top of the HUD. Makes it run liquid like butter instead of patches of glitchy lag trying to click on a skill or hold tab to check, or even reading the side bar to see who's ultimates are up.

 

It's just like last time when they changed the whole league map, everyone hated it at the start but they just didn't like the change. I don't really mind the change its just a little weird I guess and could probably be put better, I wish we could customize it more and also I heard color blind people are basically completely screwed.

 

Not at all. And I'm honestly contented it hasn't reached ranked yet. The fanciness doesn't suit ranked games, where everything is taken very, very seriously.

 

No, terrible. And nothing like the new map, when the new map came out it was odd, different but in terms of quality was similar or better, it just took some time to get used to, but this Hud is objectivly bad.

Renkinjutsushi... I think they should simply cut off the crap and focus more on fixing the servers than the HUD. It's really not what we expect.

 

I dislike it. Its too clustered and the skillbar is extremely distracting. I wish we could change it back.

 

I find it pretty much like the previous one. NOntheless the graphical changes it changed pretty nothing my style of game. I mean the only thing that maybe is a bit of arrnoying is the pings that for active them you have to press 'G' instead of click the ping button in the right side of the interface but that can be a pro also.

 

Argh! Just terrible. The most important things that should be easily seen rather than searched for have been either eliminated or moved into places that aren't that obvious. I agree it's fancy, but pragmatism is what matters most, to make everything about this game more seamless and overall pleasant to the average player. Meh... I guess each to their own, haha.

 

The first time I saw the new HUD I already hated it. My computer kept updating and patching mid game and I kept reconnecting and we lost. I had such a bad first experience with it. The new HUD also reminds me of DOTA or HON which makes it lose its personality as a game.

 

I really miss the old HUD. I just feel that I associated it with what LoL is and without it there's just a certain aspect missing. I don't feel as "in control" when I'm playing now. The worst part is, I don't think anybody asked for a new HUD!

 

I've warmed up to the new HUD a bit, but I mostly dislike it compared to what we had before. Sure, the general HUD needed some changes, but these were not the right changes.

 

The only think I dislike is having to mouse over people on TAB now. Other than that, I feel it's more streamlined, takes up less space, and my FPS jumped by a good +10 after it.

So as much as I'm adverse to change, it wasn't a HORRIBLE one as far as they go.

They changed the HUD again by the way and now finally the ping/kill status bar returned back in the top right corner.

 

It's actually pretty sleek once you get the hang of it. Just takes a couple of games. Not very unwieldy. Though their dead champions in the HUD should be a bar across the top of the screen like HEROES OF THE STORM - it shows dead timers on the face portrait slowly descending down to respawn, so I don't need to constantly look to the bottom right to see who's dead. Other than that, I have no gripes with it.

 

I was confused about the HUD at first but then I got used to it. I still like the old HUD since it's better laid out than the new one. Like they literally don't use anything on the left side. It's just wasted space. I haven't played a couple of months so I don't know if there has been any changes since the first one.

 

I like the new HUD. It seems visually appealing to me because of how nice and updated it feels. Most people hate the new HUD because it is different and many people are not used it it yet. I feel that once people get used to it that will make it seem much better than how people think it is now.
