Just wanted to know how many people here owns a car. I have my own car since I live in the countryside so it actually is mandatory for commuting.

Nope, instead I spend hours every other day on hour long bus/train commutes. Then again, I don't really want a car. It's bulky, expensive, and bad for the environment. I'd like a solar-powered/electric super-bike, but apparently those don't exist.
I'll settle for a motorbike if I can save up enough.

It was a bit frustrating because most kids in my area had some type of car before they were 20. At the time it bugged me but I had no money to buy a car and my parents were not in a position to give me one. Most of those kids were spoiled brats anyway. Even when my mom gave me her car it had 130k miles on it LMAO.

Not right now, but I'm planning to get one real soon. It's so much more convenient to own your own car, rather than rely on transit or the taxi. The only downfall is the initial payments and gas. Other than that, owning your own car is a must in my opinion.

Yea with insurance and gas and servicing it sometimes gets a little tiresome. But the convenience factor overshadows all of that. Especially if you travel a lot.

Gas prices in my area are ridiculously high though. Sometimes really makes me reconsider.

I own a car but I'm looking to sell it. I live in the city and as soon as my wife starts working at home, were gonna sell it and save up for an electric powered car. They look really neat.

I actually had a friend post pics on Facebook of a nearby gas station cheating people at the pumps. Since then the whole station has been closed down. Unreal.

Yea I am looking in to some sort of hybrid for sure. And since I have owned nothing but Honda my whole life I will be buying something from them. In fact my whole immediate family drives either Honda or Acura.

I don't know the exact number of miles that are on it, but I do know it has broken down several times. Which is why I won't drive for longer than a hour in it! :p

I own a car but it broke down recently so now I have to share a ride with my siblings. It ain't that bad because now I'm saving money and helping the environment. LOL. but seriously though. I think cycling is a better alternative if you live in the suburbs or in a rural city.

No, I don't own a car sadly :( I'm planning to buy one soon because I'm sick of using the one of my mom honestly.

I own a 7 passenger Mini Van. It's pretty old, but works and is well maintained. I have had a lot of experiences in that car.

Got a lease on a 2008 Kia, nice little thing that is good on gas, it is good for the small town I live in as well.
