Do You Plan On Buying The Division?

It's a simple enough question. Are you going to purchase The Division when it's released later this year? I definitely will buy it day one.

I'll wait for a couple of reviews before I actually buy it, but I may be inclined to buy it day one if the demos seem to be pretty good. We shall see, there is still a lot of time before they'll actually launch it.

I haven't played a Tom Clancy game since Rainbow Six: Vegas. With that being said, I've never been a huge fan of the Tom Clancy series, other than the original (?) Rainbow Six game for the N64. As such, like FuZyon said, I'm going to wait for the reviews before I buy it. Hopefully, they release a demo too.

I won't buy it day one, but I'll certainly keep my eye on it. More than likely I'll watch people play it on Twitch for the first few days and then make a judgment call. It seems cynical, but I seldom trust modern games enough to justify blindly making a purchase. That's one of the reasons I never buy into preorders.

(There was a Rainbow Six game on the N64? Huh. I never knew that. Weeeeird.)

I've been stung by buying into game too early before, with games like Destiny and Watchdogs. I'll probably wait a bit, see how well it's received, and make my decision from there.

I will wait a little bit to see how it does and to read other people's reviews, and how I like it.

Maybe. I'll wait for a few weeks to check videos and reviews before making the decision to purchase the title or not.

I'll probably get it on GOG one day. So long as the game is managed through UPlay, I won't be getting it. I've been supporting gaming companies far too long that keep screwing players over for their AAA titles marred by the lack of support.

I'm thinking I'll get it when it drops down in price, hopefully around the holidays (or just after). I'm in not too much of a rush since I have a game back log of about 40+ games still only on my Xbox 360...!

I'll wait for the reviews first, I wouldn't want to throw away money on something that I'm not sure. Although I think it's a safe bet that the game would be cool since Ubisoft didn't market the game as something that it's not.

Also I'd probably wait until the price drops down a bit. I have a lot of games on my bucket list right now and The Division isn't really on the top 10 and since Christmas is almost there, I have to save up some money for gifts and holiday stuff.

As usual, I'll for the reviews first. It's how I've always rolled, except for when I bought Destiny the first day. If the game is going to be released in 2016 I'm pretty sure I can wait a few weeks after or maybe wait until the price drops a few dollars.

Same here! I have tons of games that I bought on the last Steam sale just sitting and steaming (pun intended) ready to be played but I just don't have the time for it yet, not to mention the space on my hard drive to fit all of those games in.

I will buy the game a few days after launch. I need the reviews just to know if they messed up the PC version. I hope it all goes fine though.

Yes, like pretty much everyone else I'm going to wait for the first reviews to make sure theres nothing too buggy at launch. I generally check out new titles on Twitch to get a much better feel for a new title. Theres always a lot of streamers for big titles for the first few days after launch day and you can get a good idea of all the pros and cons there.

I think that I might wait a while before I go out and buy the division, first to see if It ends up well. If it's a steaming pile of crap then I won't buy it. I might even try it at a friend's house before buying it.

Haha I'm guilty of doing this too for previous games: let my friends buy it and then decide from that if I'll buy it myself. It's worked out pretty well for me so far because I have that one friend who seems to buy EVERYTHING. I honestly don't know how he has enough time to even play all of the games he gets. I'm going to convince him to get the Division, lol.

I'm definitely buying it if it's a good game. I'm gonna wait for reviews and impressions before I pull the trigger on it.

Depending on the reviews and how it does, I'll probably buy it. I tend to wait a few weeks after a release date and do a binge on youtube, researching the game prior to buying it. Nothing sucks more than purchasing a game and finding that you don't even want to play.

I've done the YouTube thing before and it has spoiled the game for me, so I tend to stick to written reviews, and even then I tread lightly. I hate having a game spoiled before I've played, as with most people.
