Do you play it with friends on Skype?

When you play this game do you like to play it with friends (talking on Skype) or would you rather play it all by yourself with some random strangers and your good music in the background.

I prefer to play with friends. It is a team based game, so I think talking with people really helps. You do a far better job working together. It also allows you to make the game more social. you are able to laugh and joke about everything that happened.

I find that when I solo The games can be more difficult as people don't know how to work together as well. The game can also quickly take on a negative tone if you are losing.

I haven't played League alone since the end of season 2. For me, personally, the game gets way better when I play with a group of friends. Playing it alone, from what i remember, was just boring and sometimes even annoying with people constantly trying too hard to win and trash talking anyone that falls behind. When I play with friends, I don't have to deal with any of this and I can just have fun, play fresh champions every time and enjoy the game.

It's been a long while since I actually played this game but when I did, I was always with friends. Not that I don't mind playing with strangers, but it just feels more comfortable with people I know and it was fun going as a team while everyone was on Skype randomly talking about stuff and whatnot.

I prefer playing it with friends, but I don't mind playing with strangers. It's always interesting to meet new players, especially from other countries. The only issue is you won't always be on the same page as you're not used to see the way they play.

I prefer to play with friends but not with voice chat. Me and my friends are the type to put each other on tilt if we can hear each other. The type to be cussing 20 seconds in the game for no reason haha.

I play with friends, but on Skype. I don't like Skype and I haven't used it in a long time. I do talk to my friends on other programs like Teamspeak, however. Vocal communication is important in competitive games like this and overall makes the experience more lively than just typing.

I agree with you, vocal communication is very important, but some times I just feel like playing it on my own since I get bored to hear all the swearing, also LOL can ruin friendships over some lost lanes, I know a case.

yeah, I've got into plenty of arguments with friends over LoL. We usually forget about it, but there were plenty of those tilt moments. I do like just playing it on my own from time to time.

It'll take them, but they'll make the shift, trust me, they always do. I've seen countless cases, just make them play once in while, win them on your side step by step, and after a time, they'll be the ones inviting you to play LoL.
Yes, we also forget about those moments, but I'm just bored of always listening my friends how they argues during matches about very stupid topics in the game instead of focusing on how to form team play and actually win.

Meh, if a friendship becomes ruined because of a game then that wasn't a healthy relationship in the first place. Things can get heated during a video game but that shouldn't destroy relationships.

I just play alone casually so I don't find it necessary to communicate with teammates because there's not much on the line. None of my friends play is game and even if they did I'm not sure I'd enjoy playing while having to talk because I find it a lot more relaxing to just stay quiet and go about my business. I think communication is only necessary if you want to rank up which I find too stressful.

Yes and no - skype gives me a lot of problems. Something about the unblockable adservice thing they have causes a million problems and skyrockets the memory uses sometimes, and there is no way that I've been able to find that fixes the leak

It's much more fun to play with friends and with a game that involves a lot of strategy and frustration, it's better to have your friends around rather than some dude screaming at you for messing up. I mean sure your friends will lash out on you when you do something stupid but at least their your friends that you trust rather than some random jerk online.

Never happened to me, I do not pay that much importance to a game, but people got really hyped over a game once, they hadn't talked after that, I believe that right now they've made up, but however they've been not talking to each other for more than 6 months. I also have my verbal fights during matches, but at the end of them I always lose any grudge I had during the match against a friend.

I only play it with close friends over Skype, since your IP is revealed and you can get DDoSed. Not point risking sharing your IP with total strangers on Skype.

Wow I did not know this. I usually give my Skype to total strangers as a means of contact for when I want to keep in touch with them for playing online on other games later on. Granted I usually get to know them a bit first before providing my ID but now I'm paranoid and I'll probably look for a new chat program.

Yeah, I've had those happen before, never with any older friends or real life friends though. Sometimes with people I just add to play with maybe I'll get into an argument but not always.

Really depends on my mood, if I really want to focus I don't play with my friends on skype but if I am really bored and want to have a chill time I do play it with skype, there's a lot of people suggesting that the mic option IG should be allowed, I also agree with that because when we want to be serious a few words wouldn't hurt but that is just my opinon anyways.
