Do you play on PBE?

I'd really like to but it lags so much for me. Unfortunately, PBE is only for: 1. north american players or 2. people with ridiculously good internet
I do have an account though, and I like the new UI, it opens up so much free space that was otherwise not there, while retaining most of the information. It'll take some time getting used to, yes

 

Can't say I actively play on PBE but I have in the past, living in NA, just to see updates rolling out. That and my nice internet allowed me to handle it just fine.

Though I was unaware of this new UI update/change planned. I hope it looks sleeker, the problem with the previous one is it was just clunky and used a lot of screen.

 

I used to play on it when I had a PBE account but not anymore. I also can't stand the ~160 ping since I'm from Eastern Europe. It's a cool environment and I liked to test new champions there though.

 

Yeah, that's one of the bigger issues I hear - connectivity to america PBE servers from overseas are harsh.

 

When they didn't introduce these new account rules, I used to have even 3 accounts. I sold one for approximately $15, since they were so rare in that month and you could create one only at the beginning of each month. Though these seemed to be secrets to Riot, as they wouldn't want to disclose any kind of things whatsoever. All we were supposed to do was find the server by ourselves and play. Now things have changed. I've applied for an account but no response yet.

 

Just imagine the sheer number of people applying now and there's your answer as to why it's taking so long to get a response.

I never even knew you could sign up multiple times, good thing you made some buck while you could.

 

It is nice to try it now and then, but for me the ping makes it unenjoyable as anything more than a test now and then. The UI is much nicer, I am one of those people that favors compact UIs that leave more the screen for the actual gameplay.

 

God I wish I did, is it easy to get into? One of my friends has a PBE account though.

 

I've also applied for one of those accounts a month ago, but never received a response from them in what concerns my application. I know they've got an overload of them, but if they do this kind of thing, at least respond to everyone. I will wait a little bit longer for an answer but I don't know if I will be approved.

 

My connection to them is just atrocious. I can never get a stable connection and if I end up getting a good connection, it's just for a couple of minutes before I disconnect. I would love to join to try it out, but it's just not letting me.

 

I check often on what the PBE updates are and I play it a decent amount. Whenever I see a crazy change or a new champion/item change I instantly hop on the the PBE to check it out. I also sometimes play normal blind pick on there just to test out skins because everything is free including all champion/skins. Also following the PBE gives someone foresight on what the next patch will most likely contain when it comes to stat changes or buffs/nerfs.

 

I thought about it but it seems like a hassle to download and keep up with.

 

I enjoy playing on the PBE, even if it is buggy. It allows me to try out new builds and rune sets effectively, and I can play any champion I want with any of the skins. I think of it like a mini-cheat mode for League. It's great for getting the chance to try out new champions before they hit live, which admittedly can be a hassle if your hands aren't quick enough to select them in the lobby.

My only concern about the PBE is the login issues. When a new champ is released to the PBE, the time needed to log in increases exponentially, which makes it difficult for those who don't even want to play the new champion. I remember when Ekko came out, people were waiting for hours to get into the PBE. Other than those flaws, I love it.

 

I play on it sometimes but it just feels like everyone there is bronze. My ping is a also a bit higher on it which makes farming a bit harder than normal. I barely play it these days though.

 

Аdditiоnаlly, plаyеrs оn thе PBЕ аrе givеn prасtiсаlly unlimitеd IP аnd RP. This аllоws plаyеrs tо purсhаsе аnd usе аny сhаmpiоn, skin, оr оthеr fеаturе in thе gаmе оn thе tеsting sеrvеrs. Whilе nоt nесеssаrily fоr whаt thе PBЕ wаs intеndеd, this аllоws plаyеrs tо try оut сhаmpiоns аnd skins bеfоrе buying thеm оn thеir асtuаl ассоunts. This саn bе а vаluаblе tооl in mаking а wеll-infоrmеd purсhаsе thаt thе plаyеr wоn't rеgrеt.

 

I haven't been on it, but I hear it lags quite a bit. That turns me off from even trying it. Eventually I'll get around to it, but at the moment, I'm content with the last update.

 

I have an account on PBE but I haven't used it in a while. I used to go there to test champions before buying them because you can't really test anything on Live servers. That's what SMITE has better than League: the ability to rent a god.

 

I actually signed up for PBE about 2 years ago, got an account 1.5 year later. I tried playing, it's fun experimenting with new stuff. It's very buggy though and tons of lags.

 

I played it a few times and haven't played it since. It's just so buggy that I can't find it enjoyable at all. Game bugs can really bring out the rage inside me.
