Do you think slime balls are of any value nowadays?

    In the past, slime balls were usually traded for quite a bit in Multiplayer servers due to how amazing Sticky Pistons are and players were constantly trying to find slime balls and potentially profit quite a bit from them. Since the update where they introduced them spawning in Swamps at night, do you really consider them as valuable as they used to be?

    I think they are still valuable albeit not as much. However, I'm sure you can find someone still who wants a boatload of slime balls and is too lazy to get them himself/herself.

    While I wouldn't consider myself lazy, I can still relate to the people that would like an easier way of obtaining large amounts of slime balls all at once due to the fact that the Slimes don't divide if hit with a weapon that's far too powerful, such as a Diamond Sword for example, making it rather difficult to obtain large quantities all at once.
    That question sort of came to mind since I remembered making excessive amounts of Slime Farms in the past, and was wondering if they're still that valuable since I haven't really tried selling any at this point.

    I think they are still valuable, Altough that might be because i play on a server called civcraft. Where slimeballs are hard to get and really expensive.

    I definitely don't think they're quiet as valuable due to the increase in slime spawn rate. However I'm definitely not upset about it in any way, quite the opposite.

    Getting slime balls in survival used to be a massive pain! We always just ended spawning them in just so we could get some sticky pistons.

    Slime balls can be manipulated to be very valuable and expensive in servers if the correct plugins are installed.

    Nah that are not really as useful as they used to be, not many people really use sticky pistons anyway unless you like to make hidden doors or other things.

    I think they're still valuable as slimes are still hard to find. Slime balls are still useful as you can use it to craft sticky pistons, leads, and slime blocks.

    They are still a bit tricky to find depending on the server. In my solo survival world, I worked my ass off making a slime farm. It eventually worked and that was that. Eventually I had more slime than I knew what to do with. I don't think they're very valuable with the new spawns especially.
