Do you troll often?

I see a lot of players on this game troll by feeding and afking.

    Does anyone do this?

I sometimes 'troll' by saying and doing silly things in normals to make my team laugh, but I don't actually do it in ranked or anything like that. I despise actual trolls that want to waste 30 minutes of their own day specifically to waste yours, it's just so sad

I don't troll that often. In fact, from 2012 'till now, I only trolled thrice, but I felt so bad because the two were left unpunished, but the third got me a 3 day ban, haha. I guess Rito never forgets. :)

I only troll when my team is feeding or playing unorganized. I don't go AFK or feed, I usually buy random stuff from shop, steal buffs etc.

There's really no need to troll at all. If your teammates are being toxic then they invented a mute button for a reason, no reason to affect your other innocent teammates by trolling. I only troll when I play with a full lobby of friends and we're all in the mood to do it.

I think there's a clear difference between trolling by acting silly and doing stupid things (that still miraculously work) and "trolling" by feeding and afk-ing.
The former at least amuses the person doing it, and maybe their friends as well. The latter is done out of pure spite/vengeance, and is not fun for anyone in the game at all. Not the "troll", not their teammates, probably not the enemy either (I know I'd feel like I wasted my time if I got a free win by something stupid like that).

One of the most common trolls I see in this game happens during champion select. You will have someone be first pick and want to play ADC so he locks in jinx or something. The last pick guy called ADC and will complain that he is a diamond smurf and that now we are going to lose because someone else picked ADC. This guy does not respect pick order and when it is his turn to pick, the only role that is open is support which he refuses to play so he locks in another ADC and proceeds to troll the game. I hate when this happens and as a result I try to keep peace whenever possible. I don't mind supporting so I will take the role if it means the troll will take the game seriously.

I only do when I play with my friends and I'm looking to have some fun, otherwise I don't want to ruin the experience for other players.

I troll when it comes necessary. For example if the team is composed of kids raging each other and who starts blaming you for every single error then I firstly warn them (in most cases it's useless), if they keep doing that then I start the trolling.

I only troll people who start shit with others in the game. I love to countertroll people, it doesn't have any effec ton my performance so I just do that while I keep playing the game and watch them die typing a response, gives me such a kick.

By trolling you mean those AFK and feeder types then no I don't troll often. I did once because I got tired of this one guy just trashtalking for minor infractions. I felt bad after that cause my other teammates didn't deserve it obviously. Don't troll guys, just don't. Quit don't troll.

Yeah. Though, I never did it in 30+ games unless I was playing ultimate bravery. (If you don't know that mode, go Google it. Insane fun!)

I used to do what was called 'smurfing' - making brand new accounts, playing with free champs against lowbies. I'd decimate the enemy team and feel slightly guilty about it, but the entire time I was talking in chat to my team telling them how to build and how they should skill their guys - and if they're trolling like we are, they actually listen so it's nice to get some new folks on the right path. IT just sucks to be on the other side!

For general trolling, Corinthian is right. Just quit. Don't smacktalk, don't waste your breath - just Alt+F4 for free cookies!

I trolled twice, I guess. But never felt any kind of compassion toward my teammates at all. I felt bad that I lost lp for essentially nothing.

I always feel compassion for MY team, as they're MY Team regardless if they're 12 year old whining teabaggers or not. So I always try to help them build right, skill right, stay in the same lane. Ironically, it's easier to do when you're trolling (like my smurfing) and people are more want to listen.

Unless the team deserves reverse trolling as I call it, and you troll your team. Sometimes, asshats are just asshats no matter where you go. And rather then quit and give them the sense of enjoyment, I'll make their game hell since they made my game hell. I don't need to join a game (A GAME) and deal with real world or drama and bullshit. I play GAMES to get away from that type of stuff.

I usually only troll if you have a silly team with one raging person who takes things way to seriously. I play to win usually, but sometimes it just isn“t going to happen with random teams and I accept that and just have fun. But that fun is ruined when one person goes off on everyone else... so that is who I troll.

Sometimes, but it doesn't happen often. I guess that it annoys the people in the team. :D

No, and honestly there's really no excuse for trolling.
People who say that they troll when they have ragers on their team or for some bullshit reason are just as bad as what they're complaining about.

I respect your opinion, and your right to type it - I just don't entirely agree with it.

It's a game, so if other people are out to make you angry, troll you, and then talk shit constantly - aside from just muting them and dealing with it like you should, I know a majority of around 80% of people who will just troll right on back. I'm in that 80% and won't even cover it up. It's a game. I play it for fun. If someone elses goal is to ruin my fun, I'm going to ruin their experience right back. I'm not into meekly sitting by and dealing with it, it's a game. I come to escape real life - if real life is drug back into a game, or some ignorant asshole is whining and trolling - then, it's rightfully justified. It's not always a 'bullshit' reason. I refuse to let the toxic MOBA atmosphere get the better of me, so I do what I feel evens the playing field. And keep in mind, when people troll it's not only one person - they're usually queued with people who back them up and take their side regardless if they're wrong. And people like that need put in their place. And Tribunal is going to do it.

Honestly now though, I typically would just afk/leave and get an infraction rather than deal with assholes. I used to what I talked about more so when I was raising my level, and not in the 30's range. Unless we're talking Platinum ELO, then fuck half those people because they're trolls anyways. They have it coming :p

I feel like what I said came out with a different meaning than originally intended.
If someone else is trolling and ruining the fun for all other 9 players, especially in a ranked game, then for sure, you're free to give up on that game since your experience is already ruined. By 'giving up', I don't mean 'flaming' or 'whining' though.
My bad for making a general statement, as it's very hard to do so and the circumstances vary case by case.
I still think that if player A is trolling, and then player B starts trolling as a result, I'll report both of them for the same reason, and rightfully so, in my opinion. This seems to be the point you disagree with, correct?

Yeah, that is the point I disagreed with. I can see the argument from both sides; your side probably would probably get more votes in just reporting them as the proper course of outcome - I know what I do isn't inside the EULA and I could get repercussions for it, but I don't just let people troll.

It's a game. If you're attempting to ruin it for other people then I have no sympathy or remorse ruining it right back. I'd rather ruin it back then sit there meekly angry that my team is flaming themselves and well, for the lack of a better word, RIOTING. Hah. I'd be the second guy you'd report, because really there isn't a legit reason to do it and I'd suggest ragequitting first, but giving them the satisfaction? Nah. Never.
