Do you utilize all of Minecraft's functions?

There are a lot of different things to build in Minecraft, and a lot of tools to do it. There are batteries, capacitors, switches, and redstones to power your devices. I have used redstones and switches to make automatic doors. I have powered lights. But creating both these functions pulls on computer resources, and when you are putting thousands and thousands of blocks in your project sometimes that's all the computer can handle. For that reason I mainly just build with blocks.

Of course! I usually try to implement some sort of redstone to my builds. They add more function of course, and it makes your build feel more successful.

How old is your computer that it can't handle the basic load of some pistons and redstone switches? Sounds like it's time for an upgrade.

No I don't. I have never been able to understand the more complicated stuff in Minecraft and don't think I ever will. It seems like a waste of time to me to seriously sit down and learn how to play a video game so the most complex my builds are going to get is cool shapes and rooms. :)

Yes, I do. Working with redstone is one of the aspects I enjoy most about minecraft.

I don't utilize everything MC has to offer. Why should I? Why would I? The same can be said in every game on the planet. Just because it has things, it doesn't mean I have to use them. I like that there are options and they are optional. So if and when I want to use them, great. Until then, I will play with whatever I feel like playing, considering it is a sandbox game.
