Does anyone care about all-stars?

It is not my cup of tea to be honest. I usually watch tournaments as they are intense and since most players do have individualistic talent, it is a comparison of which team has the best synergy. All Stars is like a giant brawl to me, fun but uncoordinated and meaningless.

 

It's just not that important, rather a fun event, and after the spectacular worlds matches that left us all breathless, all-stars just pales in comparison. Another factor is that during the preseason a lot of players go inactive and will probably miss it when it's on.

 

It's not a huge important event for the purpose of high skill 5v5 matches but it is a nice refresher to what we usually expect in competitive play. It is very entertaining especially when crowd favorites show up and it provides an easier way for pros to make some cool plays to show to the crowd and it gets them hyped for the season.

I only watch streamers from time to time, and that's pretty much it. But I have to admit there's so much hype around this event it's crazy, lol.

 

Don't watch it anymore. I used to live it a couple of years ago when it was something new and versatile, but now it's just mundane.

 

I don't. It's just an extra method RIOT has made to make money. Everything done there could be done over a medium and it's not interesting.

 

It's a great way for player personalities to cater to fans and play in a more fun, carefree setting. I think it's a nice change of pace.

 

I enjoy watching the organized tournaments far more than the all stars. It just seems like a big free for all with no organization. I don't hate it though, but I prefer other formats.

 

The hype is pretty outrageous, but I wouldn't expect anything else. They've really built up some of these personalities. It's ultimately good for the game as it draws more people in.

 

I am not the kind of players who watches matches or gameplays to get better at the game so no, I do not watch all star games, however I do like watching special plays in order to somehow learn them but I still find it kinda senseless, all I gotta learn has to be learnt in game, not anywhere else.

 

I don't find it that interesting and I prefer to spend my time elsewhere. That said, whenever I do spend my time on it I still find it entertaining enough for a bit then I just move on to something else. I think it's good enough to break the monotony once in a while.

 

I think allstars are pretty awesome. Like someone here said before it's pretty entertaining. I like that it's an all out war with the best. People that love the game, in general, would have an interest. Maybe I'm just an addict though haha.

 

I never watch All-Stars or LCS or whatever tournaments they have. I only watch them when I'm really bored, but usually, I prefer playing by myself instead of watching others do it. People think they actually "learn" something by watching, but seeing a professional player do something and then trying to recreate it won't mean you're actually doing good. People should come up with their own playstyles and not try to copy higher-tier players.

 

I think it's a pretty fun event. It's a cool thing, easing down after the stress of worlds. I actually went to the Hoyts viewing party for All-Stars last time and it came with a loot bag of a bunch of cool stuff, including a Arcade Riven skin, so overall, I enjoyed it.
