Does anyone feel singled out?

I hear a lot of chatter online about how the game is trying to gear people towards playing solo only. I don't mind it myself but that is not the only thing I want in a game. Can anyone chime in on this?

You actually are invited to join/create guilds as guilds will have a effective presence throughout the whole game. I'm not that sure but try searching it up, and guilds are not that all bad.

While its certainly a possibility to play solo if you so choose, I don't feel that that's what the game is geared towards. There a whole new dynamics to playing in a group or a guild that completely alter gameplay and are well worth checking out! So far the only thing I've played solo in is the training level, and the first couple hours of gameplay, after that, I got some friends and jumped in!

I agree. I don't feel like it is geared towards solo play, maybe it feels that way in the start. Try checking into some guilds and see if that makes it feel more social to you.

Yeah it still depends on the guild, some are passive and some are actually great and helps you in game.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the game was solo-only. I like to play by myself regardless of what the game is.

I kind of agree, I like playing solo a great part of the time, which makes MMOs a little weird for me. I like the social aspect, but I do enjoy my alone time also.

Totally right. I have played with some guilds in other games that have completely stunk. It's like they don't even have a purpose! If I'm going to join a guild, I like to have a common direction and some drive to get there.

Me too, I've experienced this on Ran Online and that one guild that I joined was crap. They are not active at all, we rarely pt up together.

Get a good guild and you'll be fine.

I'd be fine playing solo. Even in Word of Warcraft, which is way more multiplayer oriented than ES, I'll generally just go off and do my own thing, no guilds or anything.

I wouldn't mind playing solo if the game requires that

I have never played ESO so I don't know how strong bosses and stuff are, but I know in most MMO's it's almost impossible to solo bosses unless you spend a ton of money in cash shop or just lucky and have a ton of money personally if I was playing the game online I would rather party just because that the whole point of the online experience right?

What would be the point of having an MMO that promoted solo play? That doesn't make sense. But having said that, I prefer solo play. ;)

i would rather play solo for a story driven game so i can enjoy it at my own pace. i never liked skipping cut scenes and flying through the story with friends. i like to really explore every aspect of the world i am in.

Fore the time bieng the choice is still in the players hands so just play how you like. I think its a better experience alone in some aspects because you want have random people trolling you game but it could work nicely having friend play with you.

I have to disagree with you here. Games are eing gearded towards socialization more than ever. Look at the games like The Crew andd The Division. They are social games meant to be played with other people.

Big reason why any corporation will want to intend their games for single player formats: it's more lucrative!

In other words, they make more money this way - the idea is simple, but ingenious too.

i actually feel the same way, i felt like ESO just wasn't implementing much stuff for party play in dungeons or in the pve areas.

Nah, the game wants you to play with others, although perhaps it doesn't provide ample features for making that the most enjoyable experience.
