Does Minecraft ever get boring to you?

Well with any game it is gonna happen, sometimes when I just want to relax and watch netflix on my laptop, I will play minecraft on my PC at the same time and sometimes it will be for hours on end. Lately I have been playing a lot on these new economy skyblock servers and starting over takes a awhile to build up your island. I switch off on other games though else I would get tired of minecraft.

 

Yes it does, but it doesn't cost a lot and the possibilities are endless, so it's not like you have to push it to the limit and play it for weeks on end to get your 60 bucks out of it or something. I just play it casually and if I get tired of it, I just wait until I get a craving for it again and try everything out again.

 

I get bored of it for a couple of days and then come back later. That kind of happens with every game though.

 

Yeah once I get bored of Minecraft, I take a break for a few days and then come back after that.

 

Yes. I always get that feeling in any game I play. I particularly got bored with Minecraft when my friends stopped playing. The experience simply isn't the same when you're playing by yourself.

 

If I run out of ideas to build.. otherwise not really..

 

Yes, it can easily get boring for me. It's really just the same thing for me whenever I play too much Minecraft, and I end up losing interest. Over time I want to play Minecraft again but not as much as I did back when I was new. I think I need to quit Minecraft, to be honest.

 

Sometimes yeah. There are moments when I feel that there's nothing new left to do I'll get bored. When that happens I'll just turn it off. A few days later, everything feels fresh again.

 

Sometimes it gets boring, and I leave it for a few days. When I'm not playing and I start looking at stuff other people are doing it generally gets me back into it so I have to avoid looking at other people's creations when I need to be doing something other than video games, haha

 

Of course, I get bored after a few hours or once I run out of ideas and I continue it later on or the next day usually, sometimes I take a few days or even weeks to get back to playing but inevitably I always do, I think Minecraft is too addicting for me to ever stop playing entirely.

 

I find singleplayer quite boring, sadly. It usually consists of me mining for a long time, making a house and then that's kind of it. I never really get further into the game because then it just feels like tedious work and not quite fun. With friends though the game is very different and I can play it for quite a while, especially when playing a modpack. They give so many more possibilities into the game that it takes ages to try everything out. The new creations made in these modpacks are very different from vanilla Minecraft, so they add tons of variety to the game.

 

I have been "binge playing" for most of the big updates (especially in the beginning) but after some time you just can`t keep playing without some bigger goal. Another reason is that all of my friends pretty much stopped playing it so I am on my own and that gets stale pretty quickly :-(. I do not enojy PvP , so that won`t draw me in to play with random people either, sadly.

 

Sometimes, sometimes I'll play for a day and sometimes I won't want anything to do with it.

 

It really does for me after a certain point. If I play it to the extreme then yes it can get very boring. But that's when I turn it on the hardest level and things go bezerk. I highly recommend it. This is why I still occasionally play WoW too. To keep things interesting.

 

Yeah it does sometime. I mean, all games get to be boring at some point right? Sometimes when you reach that gaming goal of yours, like me, I already built my impervious fortress so after that I just start to get bored with the game inch by inch but I do play it still with my friends but not that much anymore.

 

I get bored with it sometimes, but I've always ended up coming back and most times I do I end up running a server (and I've had this one since around January so 8 months, although it's only been public for maybe 6)

 

Everything gets boring if you play it enough times, so yeah of course it gets boring. I try to play it in such a way that doesn't let me get bored of it, because it's a relatively fun game and I'd like to be able to enjoy it all the time.

 

I get bored of it pretty quicky, to be honest. I used to be addicted to it, but not anymore. I just don't have any ideas on what to do or what to build. Even if I have a great idea for a build, I don't have the enthusiasm to actually go through with it and build it.

Even if I get bored of playing it, I never get bored of watching others play. Youtube has a lot of awesome Minecraft players so I watch them play.

 

I will admit, I'm not as addicted to it as I used to be. I used to be able to play it for hours on end but now I'll hop off after about 30 mins. Maybe I need to add more games to my rotation!!
