I was searching for info on the game and found this interesting article here. I agree with it especially on point no.3 about choices.

Great article. I personally hope that they make choices amoral like they did with Dragon Age 1. It was nice not having a "right or wrong" meter and instead opting for what certain companions might agree with. Makes things a whole lot more interesting. Good to hear they're taking their time with this one. I'm really looking forward to another great Dragon Age.

Good article I have good faith in bioware as long as the devs are not rushed in anyway I am sure it will be another hit just like the 1st one!

I agree wholeheartedly with this. There is nothing more disappointing than a game that promises "complex moral choices", only to have those choice amount to good/bad or lawful/lawless. Another thing I would like to see is choices that are meaningful. It is also hugely disappointing when, as a player, you are presented with the illusion of choice but there is no obvious effect on the game play or game world. If I chose to act like an ass to the NPCs, they should react accordingly instead of giving the one canned response. (I'm looking at you Fable 1-3)

For sure. I think Witcher 2 is probably one of the finest examples of this. You have tons of instances where you think you're doing the right thing and it turns out you made things worse and your decisions changes the entire act of the game.

I agree on the moral system Fable wasn't the only one I remember Champions return to Arms was the same and a few other titles I guess maybe it's a lot more work, but it would be nice the way you acted is the way people would treat you.

I have to agree with most of the points made in the article. The recycled environments in Dragon Age 2 were a pretty big disappointment. I liked the idea of seeing how certain cities/places changed over the course of the years, but since the changes from one time period to the other were pretty negligible and almost no new areas were introduced, it just ended up feeling stale.

I think Bioware will make or break on Dragon Age 3. People are already extremely disappointed by the developers, for what they pulled off in recent years. If they go wrong with Dragon Age 3, I think that would be the last straw.

Interesting read. As much as people like to hate on DA2, I gotta agree with point #2. I was put off by DA2's much weaker storyline and abysmal combat system, but I'm happy to see the author consider the improvements the game made, even if they were only few. The conversation wheel implementation was a good attempt by Bioware to spice up the dialogue and to give the player a sense of agency in the game, but in the grand scheme of things, these "choices" didn't amount to much. It's a tool from Mass Effect that should have had as much impact on the storyline in Dragon Age as it did in the game it was taken from.

Definitely, it is hard finding article that talk about a game in such a way like that one just did. Great read I loved it.

Great article. Really love the way they talk about the game. Very informative and insightful, I really hope the developers of Dragon Age Inquisition reads it!

It was a good article. I agree that choices matter and that there needs to be a lot of space to go and explore. I loved dragon age, but I didn't care as much for the other one. It seemed in ways they were trying to copy mass effect which was one of there most popular titles at the time.

Definitely agree with you, I don't know why they were trying so hard to release a game copying Mass Effect.

I agree with you on #3. What is even the point of games including those dynamic choices if it really changes nothing? Hopefully BioWare does this right! Also very well written article! Good sources

Basically that. People aren't very patient, to be fair. A large amount of the players will probably simply drop it due to being left disappointed, but I still think it's unlikely that they'd mess it up keeping in mind that they've been developing the game for several years now(I think.), unlike Dragon Age 2 which was seemingly very rushed in it's development and was done in under a year or so.

I would like to see moral choices in this one like in the firs one. That made it more interesting as, good choices had positive reactions from team members and others, bad choices had negative effects. The storyline needs to be strong and also a one where someone would want to know further by playing the game. The other thing could be improved is, the combat system and having more moves and making bow and arrow realistic as in the first one all you had to do was shoot and it shot so quick was not realism.
