Is anyone as excited as I am for this game? I am a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, Dragon Age Origins being my favorite, but I still enjoyed Dragon Age 2. Anyways, will they make this game the game we all wanted when 2 came out? I know a lot of people hated the second game, and I have a feeling this game is going to be fantastic. Discuss this game here.
It better be better than the second game. I loved Origins, it was an A+ title in every way, but when the second game came out, I just couldn't figure out why they changed things for the worse. If they made the game as big as the previous game, it could have been good, but I guess they got lazy with 2. Inquisition better be a really good game.
Yeah Inquisition looks insane! I love Dragon Age: Origins and unlike most people I didn't hate DA2. It sure was a step backwards from DA:O but it was a fine game overall, with flaws like any other game. I hope Inquisition gets back to its roots but either way I can't wait to play it.
I am excited for the game I just hope they take their time and should be a great game I was a huge fan of the first one, but the second one was really bad in my opinion.
I think they learned from their mistakes in DA2, and hopefully Inquisition will be more closely related to Origins, especially Awakening, which was beyond amazing.
I'm looking forward to it but I worry that its sales with suffer in terms of the more casual fanbase. Dragon Age 2 may have damaged the reputation that the first game built for the franchise beyond repair.
The reputation is definitely damaged but I think the sheer quality of the first game can offset that. Most hardcore RPG fans still acknowledge it as one of the best titles in recent years. I can obviously can only speak for myself but, I loved the first one, the second was "meh" and I'm still excited for the third one
Personally, I'm super excited to be able to fully customize my player character again. As much as I loved Hawke's backstory in DA2, it was a real bummer to have to stick to a human protagonist no matter what.
Casual fanbase would buy the game, even if it turns like the second one , because big publishers know how to sell their games. If Inquisition is any good, it won't matter the 'bad' reputation the serie has (I don't even think it has such rep right now), the good reviews by hardcore fans could help wash away the ghosts of DA2. And I have faith that Inquisition will be true to the first one gameplay wise (what bothered me most of DA2).
The new game looks amazing from the trailer, but I don't think it will be better than Witcher 3. The first DA was innovative and incredibly complex for an RPG , but the sequel was disappointing. I hope that Inquisition will return to the Origins.
I wonder what the system requirements will be like when it comes out for PC, but I excited for the story though.
Dragon Age 2 was a big disappointment for me, it cannot be compared to Dragon Age Origins. I played and finished them both but after Dragon Age 2 I have some doubts in getting Inquisition. I'll be waiting to see some gameplay and detailed reviews before spending my money on it.
I've never played any of the other games in the series, are they worth picking up at this point? People seem to love Dragon Age: Origins, so maybe I should just get this one and not mess with the others.
Dragon Age Origins is a must play game for anyone that loves RPG's in my opinion defiantly worth the money!
The game certainly looks promising so far. But I'm definitely going to have to wait for some reviews to come in before I purchase. Fingers crossed for something as great as Dragon Age Origins. I hope to see Leliana again as well
I don't blame you with the way Dragon Age 2 was I will be doing the same thing but my gut feeling it will be a good game and will make up for the 2nd one.
I hope it will have more fantasy and less politics as well. I really liked the whole darkspawn thing of Dragon Age Origins. Didn't care much for the inquisition.
I'm certainly looking forward to playing this one. I'm sure they'll have realised that they took a pretty serious misstep with Dragon Age 2 and get back more to the 'vibe' of Dragon Age Origins The noises that have been coming from the developers, and the early previews have all encouraged me to be highly optimistic. On things for sure - if they push even further down the path that Dragon Age 2 then I certainly won't be shelling out any of my hard-earned on it!
