    I have noticed a disturbing trend lately. People randomly trolling a group by trying to kick a member for obtuse or raunchy made up reasons like "humps chickens" and "farts in my cereal", or even worse "craps other people's pants" seems to be on the rise. I see those 3 a lot lately. The person will keep trying to initiate the kick vote over and over until the dungeon is over using even stranger reasons each time. That isn't the worst part though. Lately I have noticed these votes getting passed on the first or second try because people don't bother to read the reason. Have you seen any of this?

    Please don't mention reporting them. I know that. I'm not looking for solutions. I just want to know if anybody else is currently experiencing this.

    Ive seen it here and there, i guess it depends on the battlegroup your server is in. Have you tried reporting them to GMs?

    Yeah I've seen it happen with me too, but it's not that frequent. There's a only a small number of people that find that funny. Just report them.

    I'm not looking for solutions folks. Everybody reports them. That isn't the point. I just want to know if you have experienced this and what happened.

    Back when I played WoW, it happened every so often, but never once have I seen someone get kicked for one of these reasons. That's not to say I don't think it happens - It probably does, but there's honestly not much you can do outside of reporting them.

    I never really experienced anything like that, especially this late in a patch where dungeons are just a race to get through them.

    Probably the only thing similar I saw was one time in an LFR, two priests who were friends kept using Leap of Faith to pull a player and put him in bad situations ( like running off a cliff ) and then kept trash talking him about his low dps and rezzes needed.

    Sometimes the reasons for kicks can get colorful, but I´ve never seen just random garbge like that.

    WoW has always been full of trolls, that is one of the reasons I quit playing the game.

    It doesn't make sense to quit WoW soley or mainly over trolls. You may as well just avoid MMORPGs all together then because WoW isn't the worst and coping with or just ignoring trolls is part of any online game that has multiple players.

    May I suggest you never try LOL :)

    I do think WOW is the worst of the current MMORPGs right now as far as trolling because it has so many players. In smaller games that I play like DDO and Ultima Online, the community realizes the game is barely hanging on, so they really go out of their way to be nice. I also think WOW with cross-server stuff has created a much more anonymous atmosphere where you can be a total jerk and never have it come back on you. In smaller games with more set servers, you risk being alienated if you are a jerk.

    You definitely have a point. I tried LOL and I tried Dota as well. Trollism seems to be on the rise the more popular the game is, that is for sure. Smaller MMOs have way less trolls and haters.

    So, it just happened again moments ago. The healer was kicked with the reason being "Chicken Humper" and nobody would own up to starting the vote. It was funny at first, but it's getting old now.

    We are adults playing a kid´s game. :) There are things we just have to accept from the community because a lot of them are teens. The same way we have to accept the fact that they think Justin Beiber is a musician.

    There is no solution to the problem. They are either going to troll you by kicking people and putting stupid comments, or they are going to troll you by not doing anything in the dungeon because there is no kick mechanism. Blizzard can´t win.

    True, but I have a feeling that some of the folks doing this are in their 40's and just acting this way online because of the crap it would cause if they let it out IRL. LOL
