Dx11.1 on 500 series GPUs?

    Lol the Nvidia Control Panel says I've got DirectX 11.1 Support but GPU-Z doesn't say so.

    This with 301.42, I wonder whats nvidia cooking up.

    all 500 series have dx11 and your gtx560 ti is a beast! :)

    and by the way both of them (nvidia cp, gpu-z) say you have dx11 I dont see the problem?

    As much as I accept its a beast, its really not :|

    I regret not taking a 2Gb version :|

    Well I think Nvidia's CP is more accurate since its the latest build and GPU-Z might not be updated, but well its just my imagination :-?

    Anyway this anomaly of having Dx11.1 show up is just in this new build of drivers (301.42), so I'm just curious if anyone came across that problem here.

    Fine how would you like to receive it? :p

    Well its 1Gb, and I play games on 1080p. It was all fine until ONE day.

    BF3 on Ultra Textures uses more than 1Gb vram, and there are several other games, I can manage by turning off windows theme, but I am just afraid of the future. Especially Last Light.

    I believe even Max Payne 3 will require above 1gb Vram -_-

    what is your cpu? ur ram?... gtx560 ti is good enough for bf3 :/

    Playing on high res and tuning on graphical eye candy will eat up VRAM.

    When LL comes out I will be getting one or two gtx670's. Hopefully by that time Gigabyte will have a 4Gb non reference design.

    Maybe Last Light will be the game which I play on 720p at Insane settings just because I don't have vram -_-

    Seriously this is probably the flaw in game design these days as I was reading somewhere games these days don't know a user has 8-32gb of ram and the textures can be stored there temporarily.

    CPU is AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.7Ghz and ram is 8gb 1600mhz

    You CANNOT MAX out BF3 in a single GTX560Ti.

    If you shut off that deffered anti aliasing, and put textures to High, rest to Very High you might get above 40 to 60fps, otherwise its impossible.
