Faction Pack slightly delayed

    Hey all,

    Sorry for not being around lately. Between E3 and other games it's been quite busy. I know that is a lame excuse but there's still only one of me I'm afraid :).

    To the point at hand:

    The release of the first piece of singleplayer DLC, the Faction Pack, has unfortunately suffered a delay :(. It was planned for "June" but there were some challenges. We're all working on it, but it looks like it should be ready for the middle of July now.

    I'm really sorry about this delay, especially if you were one of the people who bought the Season Pass as soon as it was available, and like the rest of you I would've preferred if the first Pack would've made the month of June.

    I do hope that after Metro: Last Light, you can wait a few more weeks for us to complete everything for the Faction Pack and do all the additional testing required to ensure it will be as high quality as possible!


    Until we have a final release date set in stone, I don't have many other details to share right now for the Faction Pack. There will be more news and screenshots to come before the Faction Pack is released, but I don't know when that will be exactly.

    The DLC achievements can be found on Steam, however: http://steamcommunity.com/stats/MetroLastLight/achievements

    All the other DLCs in the Season Pass should follow over the course of 60 days after the Faction Pack has been released.

    I have been waiting for my account activation, so I can wait for this too :)
    And I am really curious about what story/stories will the main character/s experience. And about the new challenge, of course! :D

    And hell yeah! The Librarians! I've really been missing them, they're simultaneously my favorite and the most hated enemies. :) Except a horde of nosalises, of course. :D
    I am really eager to face the librarians again!

    You think that tiny reveal is going to calm the ravening beasts?! How about something a little more substantive, like, say... is the Volt Driver going to make an appearance in the Faction Pack?

    I actually regret clicking it, i would been much more surprised if i seen it in-game. Its my mistake though.:eek:hwell::eek:hwell:

    good to see we're gonna visit more parts of the metro and moscow again.. and also see new stuff..
    the enemy variation as very short in metro last light.

    We never really quite saw too much of them in LL compared to the Reds, so it's entirely possible. Does anybody know where this DLC takes place timeline-wise?

    please let the mutated bats have more of a part to play in combat, I saw them once and thought "new mutant which screams" :eek: and then after running past them I never saw them again throughout the game. :(

    Or an under water mission in venice where you're attacked by lobsters and blood sucking eels.
