Factions PVP or Survival servers?

    What do you prefer? An anarchy based Factions PVP server where raiding and griefing is allowed, or a more calm survival building server where griefing gets you banned instantly?

    I would have to go with the Factions PVP, it honestly does make Minecraft a bit more exciting and dangerous, there's nothing like defending your base from a group of raiders :)

    I prefer factions PVP for the same reasons you do. It's just a lot of dangerous and awesome fun. However, sometimes I do like to relax and see what I can build.

    I prefer survival building servers. Some PvP may be allowed, but no totally intentional camping of one pleyer, also it should include the possibility of protecting your own land.

    I definitely prefer survival servers. I'm just not a PvP kind of person. I'd much rather work on my own, and not have to deal with spawn campers and other BS.

    True, I do like to try out new styles of buildings and experiment with redstone sometimes.

    I prefer Factions. It is more intense, whereas you can just play survival on singleplayer. Factions also allow you to do faction wars and other faction related minigames. Raiding and Griefing make survival more interesting, because it is always fun to take other people's stuff legitimately :p.

    I prefer to play on survival servers than to play on factions PvP. I really don't like to kill other players, I like to build and survive on my own.

    I like the idea of people being grouped together on servers, but I don't really care for PvP, so I usually play on servers with towny installed.

    I like more Factions, because it's more fun and more social. The Survival mode is boring for me because, you do everything alone, while in factions you can build a base with other players!
    I know that griefing is allowed in factions, but if you build strong enough base, it would be difficult to be griefed or raided. I play on a factions server.

    I switch between survival and factions, depend upon how I feel that day. It's not a huge deal for me, and they're both pretty easy modes to adapt to, assuming you can outsmart other players.

    Definitely a survival server with a friendly community, where griefing is frowned upon. I don't like PVP very much, let alone griefing. I want to simply enjoy the game, play it with my friends and not worry about people that might loot my base or kill me while I am out and about.

    I like factions. I love being a part of a team. I also get lazy to gather my own supplies sometimes, so I ask some members for like seeds or ingots.

    I definitely prefer survival because to be honest PvP is just pure luck sometimes as sometimes you hit or you don't hit. Plus survival is so fun with your friends as you can make some awesome looking bases.
