I heard a while back that there was going to be an announcement on the new Fallout game, which will be titled Fallout 4. I don't recall every seeing that article or announcement posted anywhere, but it does look like it's going to happen at some point and time. I heard about this too. I'm ready for it though. Been waiting for a sequel ever since New Vegas, even though I enjoyed Vegas, it just wasn't on par with 3 and a whole new sequel is a must for me. I hope they redeem themselves after Vegas, simply because they need to. I imagine it'll be next gen only.
You won't find a lot on it, Bethesda is known for leaving their fan in the dark about upcoming game. It's won't be coming out this year for sure, my guess is w we'll see Fallout 4 sometime mid 2014.
This is excellent news. I absolutely loved all of the fallout games so I'd be thrilled to get a new one.
Wow, Fallout's game play with graphics similar to Skyrim. Sounds amazing to me. I'll be looking forward to it, hope we get more information about it soon.
Please, please let them follow their footsteps and release it to PC as well. I can't wait to see what they have in stock for us, BUT at the same time I really hope they don't dissapoint us with the excuse of having other games (Elder Scrolls Online, anyone?) to work on. I'll probably get the game after reading some reviews, if we know anything about Bathesda, it's that they don't release half games like certain game companies (*cough*EA*cough*).
I think I heard about Fallout 4 as well. I'm really curious to see what they are going to do with the games. I have never played them all of the way through myself but I have watched my boyfriend play through them and I really enjoy the stories.
I'm sure the next Fallout game is in the works right now by Bethesda but I haven't heard anything official as of yet. I'm sure it will be released for the next gen consoles which should be good for the graphics, and they'll have a lot more freedom to make the world bigger and do what they like.
I cant wait for the next game in the series. I feel a lot of game companies are holding off on announcing their next big games for the meantime. They want to see the new consoles get released, which ones do well, and focus their games based on market research. It'll happen though.
Like most people have stated I think that it's in progress, but I won't expect any information on the game for at least next year I don't see the game coming out until mid or late next year.
There's already some leaked information on Fallout 4 and I'm pumped. I think there's a screenshot somewhere on a gaming website, the website isn't popular so you're going to have to dig through websites before you see it. Also there are rumors that there will be multiplayer in the next one.
I want Fallout 4 so much. I am a huge fan of the series. I have most of the games. Anyways, point is, a Fallout 4 would be an amazing thing for Bethesda to push out, because they could add multiplayer to it, and also refine game mechanics that have been a problem in the past.
I am so damn exceited for Fallout 4. Fallout 3 was my first but I liked it so much that I bought the first two games as soon as I finished it. Then New Vegas came out and it became my favorite. I also don't want multiplayer; that would ruin the immersion.
Bethesda Softworks didn't announced yet the new game, but there will certainly be a Fallout 4 in the next 3 years.
I am BEYOND stoked for this game to come out. I hear that it's going to take place in Boston, which already makes me really excited. I hope they add to or expand on their list of features. Fallout 3 and Fallout NV were both amazing! I expect nothing less from 4!
New Vegas was incredible and I really hope they learn from Obsidian's Example in that game. Boston could make a very facinating place to explore post apocalypse and I'm extremely excited about the prospect of a next gen Fallout.
I hope that they make the urban setting completely navigable and explorable. It would be disappointing to see such a large and awesome environment go to waste if they didn't.
