    I am surprised there is no previous thread about this, and if there is I could not find it. What does everyone think of this game so far? I think it looks absolutely unbelievable. This game and Last Light are the two I am looking the most forward to. It is going to be insanely awesome. "Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?"

    Actually Far Cry is a cool game in my opinion. First game wasn't that good but 2 and now Far Cry 3, That's going to be fun!

    I don't understand you, my friend, but well... THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played the number 2, SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's not relationated, so it doesn't matter if you didn't played it. It was VERY realistic, with the BEST explotions i have ever seen!!!! even better than games just like BF3.... but well, too much to explain, and we are talking about FC3, not FC2. I was going to make a post about this, but i didn't remind!!!!

    i have farcry 2 and in my opinion its a great game. it was a little hard to shoot and play in multiplayer since the movemetns were so choppy. but i still injoyed the game.

    farcry 3 looks great. however i dont know if ima gonna get it since i want to save up for last light and some other games that i really dig for. maybe fallout 4 (if it comes out).
    Plus i want some more sports games. i have skate 2 and shaun white snowboarding (It sucks soo bad lol). but i want something else soo.


    BUt all together farcry 3 is a great looking game and i might think about getting it if i have the spare money. :D

    I'll get it eventually, as I do with most games. :) It looks solid, and FarCry 2 had good multiplayer.

    I didn't played FC2 multyplayer, bad luck... I played it from a friend in PS3, but when i started to play PS3 online, someone sole it from my friend...

    I loved Far Cry 2, especially when playing maps from the community. I'm pretty pissed off about the fact that they are removing vehicles from multiplayer. Racing online was fun.

    The lazy devs are going to offload some graphical features to the CPU since the consoles lack GPU power. I'd rather throw my money a month before at the new NFS and see the 300% performance increment using Dx11 they speak of.

    I feel bad about necro'ing my own thread, I really do...but it's better to revive this one and let it run it's course in the annals of the Metro Forum than to create a second thread on the topic. BUT....

    Has anyone played this yet? I've had it since last week, and (pardon my French) it is FUCKING AMAZING. Easily my favorite game of the year. I see this game having more replay-ability than Skyrim. There is an immense amount of stuff to do, and the AI mixed in with the wild animals makes for some insane scenarios that never get old. Each weapon feels completely different from one another, the customization is simple and each attachment is useful, and the weapons you have really do completely change the tide of each battle - which makes me eerily reminiscent of Metro... Lately I've been rocking the Recurve Bow with a Marksman Sight on it to get some long range Bow kills. Soooo satisfactory! As a sidearm I use a snub-nosed black .44 Magnum with night sights.

    The random encounters are awesome as well. I suggest that everyone at the very least try this game. Not to mention the story is fucking amazing as well, and the cast of characters are unforgettable. (Dennis and Buck are my favorites so far...)

    Just played it first time today. It's good, but I am somehow not really caught by it, and it was in fact almost a relief to close the game to check the forums. I'd give it a 3,5 out of 5, but then again, I've only played for 2 hours.

    The game looks really fun (and beautiful on the PC), but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I just can't afford to get games at release... the only exceptions so far were Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (the only game I ever pre-ordered so far). :p Though I'm going to make another exception for Last Light.
