    This being an MMORPG forum, the opinions might be be a bit bias, but I'd be interested to know if MMORPG or even RPG is your favorite genre of game. It is mine, but FPS closely follows behind it.

    MMORPG is definitely my favorite genre. Behind that is RPG. Then behind that is MMOFPS. Anything that is an MMO and/or RPG is usually fine by me. Excluding what I just listed, I like sandbox and strategy games.

    MMORPG's I don't actually like that much because I hate busy and laggy serves and I prefer to play alone, so really I prefer RPG's as a favourite genre and those that have smaller fan bases (obviously not too small that you can't trade/PvP/party) but I don't like huge MMORPG's

    My favourite genre is RPG, single player ones though, like dragon age, witcher and skyrim. I also enjoy adventure games, like the Broken Sword series and strategy games of all kinds.

    I love WoW. I've been playing it for a long time and my friends still play it so we would always go on and raid bossing :p.

    I'd still say that deep inside I prefer tactical FPS games. The problem is that it's really hard to find them these days.

    Street Racing games have always been my favorite I just love tuning cars and making them stand out!

    Well MMORPG's are definitely in the first place, and right behind them follows third person action games. I also respect RPG games but i am not that into them.

    Yes, my favorite genre is RPG. I prefer it more than MMORPFs or FPS games. But FPS games with good RPG mechanics like in GTA Online are really amazing. I love these type of games.

    MMORPGs have always been my favorite because of the simple fact that your playing as a real being in the game. It's sort of like the game giving you a completely different life and you working with it and working through it. I've never really liked other kinds of genres because it just feels to fake and monotonous. With MMORPGs though, your given an entire world and different way of living and acting. That's why I'll honestly always love it.

    I actually prefer RPG's more than FPS. FPS can be very frustrating at times, whether it be hackers, whiny little kids, or horrible teammates who don't help you out with the objective at all. I tend to stay away from FPS games nowadays. RPG games, especially the ones you can play co-op together with friends is very fun when you know what you're playing. Loved playing Titan Quest together with my friends, 4 player co-op and a great storyline with tons of classes to choose from.

    MMORPG is a great genre. Like everyone is basically picking. Which is no shocking surprise there. But I also love MOBA games. Since League of Legends is one of my favorite online games that I play pretty much every single day. Of course every game you play online is going to have immature young adults on there, that have nothing better to do than be mean and rude in the game. Which also can happen in MMORPGS, although it's more rare there. Well, least for me. I haven't seen too many immature kids on those yet. So, I'd have to say I love MOBA!

    I like RPG games the most. I play a lot of those games more than the MMORPG games. I tend to like the action in RPG.gsmes because action games are my favorite to play.

    FPS games by far are my favorite. I find myself playing terrible FPS games just because I like FPS games!

    FPS games. My favorite being CounterStrike. I also like sandbox style games quite a bit, so yeah even RPGs are among my favorites.

    RTS style games are my way-to-go, way fun and so much interactive gameplay that it makes me want to play forever!

    Fantasy RPG/MMORPG will forever be my favorite genre. I also really really like MOBA (Dota2, LoL) and some FPS RPGs (fallout3, borderlands) but I think Tolkien's world has left me forever yearning for the fantasy world in art and games and my love for stories will always drive me towards RPG, whether it's MMO or not.

    I'm a big fan of RPG's single player. MMORPGs are actually really fun too. The problem is, I get way too addicted to them, and I honestly cannot stop. Once I start playing, I get these urges to get specific accomplishments, like obtaining an awesome weapon. Before I get done with my first goal, I will usually get the urge to do 2-3 other things. The list piles up, and before you know it, I spent a full year playing the same game. Call me crazy, but MMORPGs are a little too time consuming than I would like.

    RPGs on the other hand, are a bit more controlled. I like having a solid story line. Too much freedom is honestly a bad thing for me. Maybe my opinion is just biased because of the previous experiences with MMORPGs.

    RPGs in general, be it online or otherwise are pretty much my favourite genre, simply because they entail so much. Almost EVERY single RPG is a sandbox, or at least involves some non-linear/exploration elements where you can simply wander about and do whatever you want in a nicely detailed world with lore and all.

    RPG is a genre that you can't really "do wrong".

    Yes, MMORPG's are my favorite genre.
    While I also enjoy fps, and sports games, I have the most fun playing MMORPG'S, and it's also where I spend more time.
