favorite season?

I'll let you in on my essay about weather:
Winter can be fun with snow and all, but I've grownd tired of it, and I'm freezing my ass off everytime I go outside.
Summer is too intensively hot, causing me to only stay inside like a slaughter.
Autumn is just rainy. I like the rain, but only when being inside. People say there are such beautiful and nice colors in the trees. That's true, but everywhere else looks like the apocalypse itself. Every street and ditch looks untidy and messy because of all the brown leaves and the dirt laying around everywhere, it's muddy, it's rainy, it's chilly.

Spring must be the ultimate time of year; Everything is growing beautifully, the air is fresh, the temperature is close to perfect.

 

Autumn/Spring.

 

Here in Florida these are the season
winter: burning hot
spring: burning hot
Summer : burning hot
Fall: burning hot. -___-

 

this is how it goes in the uk:

spring: rain
summer: rain
autum: rain
winter: rain/snow

my favourite? when it is sunny, and when it snows. and that can be any time of the year.... :twitch:

 

As Odessa said, the boundaries between seasons can be almost non-existent in the UK (especially in the part of England that I live in). :lol: Poland usually has much more stereotypical seasons, which I prefer since I know what to expect. In Poland we (usually) have: pretty much standard springs, wannabe Spanish summers (very hot, but normally not quite as burning as in Spain), wet and rainy autumns (though the plant life sometimes has stunning colours) and Eastern European winters (that's tons of snow in many parts of the country).

Of all these, I think I'd go with a Polish winter. I just love how all the buildings (or fields - depending on where you live) are covered up and snow is always fun, as long as it's not damp or wet. And, since I'm a night owl, I enjoy the longer and darker nights during winter.

 

winter: either 20- and awesome or 0 and wet and miserable
Spring: nonexistant
Summer: rainy or freaking hot and nice
autumn: yuck
