    What it says on the proverbial tin.

    My favourite is probably Ubisoft just because of the games it makes like Tom Clancy games, Assassins Creed games, far cry 3 and soon Watch Dogs. This is closely followed by 2K Games because mostly of Spec Ops: The Line. That was almost perfect in storyline, if not perfect. It wasn't the best third person shooter ever but it made up for that in story. If you haven't played it, you should, definitely. And also, they made Mafia 2 which while not perfect and way too linear, if they added some secondary stuff or made it more like Joes Adventures but never went near the time limits ever again, ever, and just had a reason to buy some of the stuff, it would be in my opinion a GTA killer, well for me if nothing, I'm more into the gangster stuff than GTA characters anyway. I'm a suit man

    One of my favourite ex-game companies is Pandemic Studios. They sure did go out with a bang, with The Saboteur.

    Spec Ops was made Yager Development, whilst 2K Games simply published it.

    My favourite game development studio is CD Projekt RED. However, I also like 4A Games, GSC Game World (now defunct), BioWare and Bethesda Game Studios.

    Rockstar before they were kinda shitty in how they implemented GTA online. (I just need more IRL money so my escapist reality can have more money!)

    DICE before they got ruined by EA.

    Bioware before they got ruined by EA.

    Infinity Ward before they botched MW2 and crumbled into multiple companies.

    Ubisoft and Blizzard before they got aggressive with always-on/DRM on PC.

    Bethesda before they sued Mojang over Scrolls. And won.

    I guess Overkill's pretty neat. Valve's been pretty hard to dislike since they got Steam really working. 4A's obviously done well with the Metro series. Black Isle did well with FO:NV.

    Cloud Imperium Games. Even if you've never played the witcher, you must admit that cd projekt are like the best devs ever morally

    I don't know anything about them but I'll take your word for it.

    I dunno about him, but while I personally feel compelled to support companies that stay away from DRM, I also feel compelled to buy games that I actually enjoy. And as much as I tried, I never really got all that much out of Arma 2.
