I normally prefer the Dark Brotherhood ones however in Skyrim I'd have to pick the Thieves Guild. So much fun... and when it gets to the Nightingale part.. ohh wow. Becoming a nightingale and getting that most awesome looking armor ever was orgasmic. So which one was your favourite?
The companions, simply because it was the first part of the game. I remember using their sword for a long time. I also liked being a werewolf, I used it to kill some dragons because I couldn't defeat them without.
how can you become a werewolf? I encountered some in the expansion yesterday and I was thinking if I can become one. Apart from the main quest, my favorite is also thieves guild although I haven't tried Dark Brotherhood yet but I intend to do it.
I like the thieves guild quest line because it’s an easy way to get a ton of gold and on top of that I find it to be the most challenging especially towards the end.
That's a big surprise to me! I thought the main quest was very very weak in Skyrim... it wasn't anything special in Oblivion either. It was actually one of my LEAST favorite quests in Skyrim.
I remember the first time I played the game, the first questline that really captured me was the Companions. Once I learned I could be a werewolf I was blown away, it was awesome . Then of course when I finished the questline and later on married Aela. All in all my favorite faction in the game.
I actually hated the companions questline because I didn't like being forced into being a werewolf... I don't find that type of gameplay enjoyable. My favorite would have to be the Dark Brotherhood... Cicero is an intriguing character, the Falkreath lair is pretty cool, Shadowmere can look badass if you use mods, and I remember being completely blindsided at the twist in it (when you've actually been sold out by Astrid) that I sat there looking at my screen going "whaaaaaaaa?" for a couple of minutes.
I know that it's not the best quest line in the game, but since I always liked mages in RPG games, I am going to choose the College Of Winterhold quest line. It was the first quest line I finished in the game, even though I was quite underleveled at that time, but the reward was a major improvement for me, gear-wise.
I just started doing the Dawnguard DLC and it's so much fun I have not gotten to far into the story, but it may be my favorite I will have to wait and see how it plays out.
Much like everyone else here, thieves guild or the dark brotherhood. Both are kick ass and so much fun!
I quite enjoyed it too however the dark brotherhood quest line in Oblivion was much better IMO. I guess that is why I had super high expectations which weren't met.
I enjoyed the Vampire quest line, though the castles were so annoying most of the time, being huge and having no order at all, I got lost a few times in one of the levels. Also, carrying The Elder Scrolls for so long, 20 weight each, was really annoying, as it clogged my inventory (You will have 3 at once in one point, +60 weight, straight to your inventory)
I honestly dislike the main story-line of the campaign itself, I love the dawnguard one and the dragonborn one though - they're really well-made to be honest. I also really loved the mages guild one and the thieves guild. I mean - I didn't think that the leader of the thieves guild was actually robbing the thieves guild blind?! *Spoiler*
I changed my mind after completing both DLC's mine is defiantly Dawnguard it was a lot of fun next time when I do this quest line I will side with the vampires!
The Thieves Guild quest line was epic, the plot was great as you didn't really know who to "trust" or not 'till the very end. Also, the rewards were awesome, I really like the Nightingale set.
I like the main questline because I thought it was the most intriguing storyline in Skyrim. Most of the other quests didn't really have a story that I'm aware of or know what was happening.
I loved the one where you could become a werewolf, that was intense, I had loads of fun, not to mention a kick-ass new ability. Beast Mode...cool
I really enjoyed all of the major questlines, but my favorite was the Dawnguard faction. It comes with the DLC of the same name and basically has you hunt vampires, while you can also become one in the process. You also get a cool new companion.
