    Are you sure that it isn't just his or her RPG character's gender? Odessa could be a guy in real life - I don't think we've ever asked him or her about that. Hopefully Jet will show up here, see this and tell us. ;) As for the others... I honestly don't know, but it's a shame that we haven't met any. I guess it is understandable though, seeing as how gamers tend to be pretty sexist. A female fan of metro might not join this forum because she could think that there's loads of sexist pigs here like on YouTube (which is obviously not the case) - and I don't blame them. There's way too many sexist men on the internet. :(

    But yes, I have experienced that before too: That someone believes I'm a girl just because they've mostly seen me roleplay with my female character.

    thanx! yeah, I really love the hair-cut style and the handbag. wanted to go out like that, but common sense dictated the opposite. don't want to spend a night in the cells! :laugh:

    yes, I'm definetley female, 48yrs old at that, at least last I checked. :D

    don't know if we have any other female members in the forum though, do we? anyway, I don't see the point in lying on the internet tbh, and as for most gamers being male sexist pigs, yeah, it happens, but I've been lucky enough in the sense that here in this forum, and in the stalker forum (the GSC Game World official one, where my nick is also Jet Odessa) I haven't encountered any pigs. I have always felt an equal in both forums, and my number of post in both reflects that. at the end of the day I'm just a gamer like all of you guys, and had never had a problem for being female, and gay at that, with any of you, and I doubt I ever will. I consider all of you in both forums to be my gaming family and friends.

    I heard that Metro has plenty of female fans in Eastern Europe (especially Russia and Ukraine), which is expected. I think it's also very popular among both genders in my country as well, but I don't live there anymore - so I'm not sure how it is.
