There are a lot of loveable characters in the Final Fantasy universe. Dagger, Cloud, Tifa, Vivi are just some of the few beloved characters. What about characters that you hate? Are there any? Well I hate Tidus from Final Fantasy. What about you?
A lot of the characters in Final Fantasy X were pretty bland to me. I enjoyed the story, but the characters themselves weren't as good. On the other hand, I really like the Final Fantasy XIII cast, despite them being considered weak by many. At the end of the day, they really convey the situation they're in - they're doomed whatever they do, so you'd expect a natural desperation. I often find that RPG characters tend to display far more bravado than they should, given that until the game started they (often) had no weapons training at all, and now they're expected to save the world. FFXIII is a game that I feel is unfairly critiqued sometimes.
I didn't like Seymour to much I didn't like his voice actor, his clothes looked stupid, and that one fight when you have to fight him and he summons Anima made me mad it took me along time to beat that snob.
I really wanted to kill Hope in XII, specially during the first half... he got less dumb later but still lame as hell. He's a pretty cool guy in XIII-2, though, admittedly.
Seifer just for the simple fact that I remember building his character up and then BOOM he turns into the bad guy and all the hard work and time I put into building him up was gone
I really disliked any character after IX. I guess I just don't like change, and once Final Fantasy got into PS2 it just really ruined the whole series for me. All of my real life friends say I'm crazy for not liking X but it just really felt like a boring game for me. After that, I didn't play any of the new ones. I have however dabbled in the new online one, and in XI, but I don't think that counts haha.
I hate all characters in Final Fantasy VIII, one of the worst games in the series. They were pretty much the same as they did not have any unique ability. I cannot even remember the name of the last boss. It was such a disappointment after Final Fantasy VII, with its great story and characters.
