    I haven't played a Final Fantasy game since XII, which I liked a lot. I'm strongly considering picking this one up eventually, I like what I've seen from it so far.

    I'm not too enthusiastic about the character designs on this one but the graphics do look great as always. I will probably still pick it up though as I don't really mind the designs so much that I would refuse to try it out and if it does have that many hours of gameplay then even better as I have always considered FF to be a great game to play over a long period of time.

    That seems like the usual length for a Final Fantasy, or at least compared to the latest mainline ones. I can't believe this game is actually coming out this year!

    Hurray for news :D I have been stoked for this game since they announced it, but in classic SE fashion, they only drip-feed info of their game. Come on, a little substance would make me so happy SE, a little substance...

    This looks like a good game to pick up and play. They have definitely taken into account the previous game critical remarks on having an excessive linear gameplay. I'm still wondering though why there aren't any girls in the team, they have always added a nice touch to all the Final Fantasy stories so far.

    They answered multiple times to that I believe. But anyways a team with only male members is a thing they haven't done before with Final Fantasy. They did a female only party with FFX-2, so why not let them do the opposite now. :p

    I agree. I wonder what made them decide to go all black this time around and all male when so far a lot of their praise has come from the colorfulness and diversity of the personalities and costumes of the team. I'm sure there is a good reason for it though and I'll probably get used to it once I start.
