First true action MMORPG

    I really like TERA, although I have only started playing it last week, so I am still new to the game...

    I looked up their website on Google, and I noticed that they are advertising TERA as the is the first true action MMORPG. I don't really know if that is true... I think that may be false advertising because there are other action MMORPGs out there that combine the depth of an MMO with the intensity of an action game.

    What do you think? :oops:

    I disagree, I think the fact that TERA involves the player more in fight scenarios is what makes it stand out from other games. Others don't like it though as they are more into the game scenario of level advancement. All about opinions I guess.

    TERA is unique, in the sense that it feels revolutionary in terms of game mechanics. It's probably one of the few RPG games that supports realtime combat (none of the press button, attack, wait to get attacked, take turns crap) where you actually have to attack, move around, retaliate, and flee if necessary. It stands out from other RPG games, definitely. It feels much more immersive than other RPG games, and if you think about it, it makes sense.

    Defiantly not the first action mmo's, but I to have not been playing for a very long time so I don't know how the game is at higher levels, but I am sure it's even more fun!
