Ok, so got a mate obsessed with WoW now but he doesn't have his own pc and my laptop is struggling to keep up :(

The specs for the Foxconn nT-A3550 are as follows:

CPU: AMD E350 Zacate Dual core 1.6GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon Mobility HD 6310
    RAM: 4GB DDR3 1066MHz
    HDD: 120GB Sata II

My question is, what kind of performance can i expect from this little thing and is it worth spending roughly £200 on it? or wait, keep on my laptop and save cash over the long run for a semi-reasonable spec gaming rig

Not personally, but a quick google suggests that processor might be on par with a P4. If that were to be the case it's not even meeting the minimum requirement. Not sure about the graphic card. I'm not sure it'd actually run on it to be honest.

Doesn't look like it will run it at all I'm afraid. If it did run, then it would be at ultra low settings and mostly still laggy. Best to keep saving the money and purchase one built for gaming. You can get decent gaming rigs cheap these days.

That processor is a joke. However, the graphics card is more than enough to run WoW. The processor does most of the work, though, and will probably not work well with the game. The classic and vanilla WoW will run perfectly, but not the newer more demanding version of the game.

You might be able to play the game but don't expect to much. It's a slow machine and you will always feel it. Maybe if you install Windows XP on it and don't install anything else, that you might get some performance out of it.
