Any recommends on f2p games? I don't mean to be a cheapskate, but cash is low and I'd really like a game with some decent f2p content. Thanks!

If you want something a bit different in terms of extended player to player interactivity, I would suggest ArcheAge. Be warned though, it does have its own series of bugs, botters and spam since it is a new game. Another free to play game would be Stronghold Kingdoms. It's a conquest game between players over land: parishes, counties, provinces and countries. Of course, I don't know what you're actually into.

If you're looking for PC games, I'd recommend League of Legends and Hearthstone as fun time wasters that don't require any initial money. And it is possible to get by on both games without spending any money, although especially with Hearthstone, you might be tempted to buy packs to start filling your decks.

Haven't tried ArcheAge, but I have heard about the same bugs that tinybutnotfangless mentioned. It's not a game i'd consider sinking much time into right now, until they get the dev. under control.

Thanks for your replies. I don't think I've ever played a game that didn't have bugs. I'd probably pass out from shock if I found one. ;) All of those sound interesting. I'm pretty much a long time RPGer, but I like some strategy games too.
I tend more toward pve rather than pvp. I played Kingdoms of Camelot and Kingdoms of Middle Earth for a while, but found it to be pretty much a negative experience. :p It forces players to log on several times a day whether it's convenient or not to do so or risk losing valuable resources and ticking off your alliance. It felt like a ball and chain, those games. Now it's time for something completely different.

That's a easy one, League of Legends! Pick up some friends and go play it, you'll have the most fun there than in other multiplayer game, at least, that's what happened to me!

Maplestory is quite fun. There is a cash shop but there are always alot of events going on to allow you to get really good gear! you should try it out!

I've never heard of that one. I will check it out soon I hope. Right after I posted this thread, all my free time got sucked away from me. I've bookmarked this thread though so I can come back to it. :^)

There are many companies that have F2P games. You should try Nexon and Softnyx.

There is a lot of free to play games. I would recommend Wolfteam as it is quite easy to learn and really versatile game. In addition, in browser based games there is a game called Travian. It is more like strategic game if you like to play games of that category.

I would definitely agree with Hearthstone as a time waster. It's fun without requiring a huge time commitment.

Mount & Blade is free to download and play, and right now, it's free on Steam! I personally, attain my games from other methods, but I shall divulge in it no further.

I'm not one for F2P games and the only game I know of is Team Fortress and League of Legends. Some say Archage is goood but I never got into it.

I think you should try games like Planetside 2 and Warframe. These 2 games will keep you occupied for some time.

Many games are free to play now. This does not mean they will always be free. For example Star Trek online is free to certain level, then you have pay for the subscription to continue to level up. World of Warcraft started doing this too, once they started seeing numbers drop. You can play for free up to level 30 on that game. Warrock is always free, but once you get hooked on it you most certainly will want to pay because it opens up the good weapons.

I would recommend giving Tera a go. Unlike most MMORPGs, you don't auto attack or auto lock. You have to hit the enemy and dodge them on your commend in order to fight. It seem has the same type of quest you would find in these types of games: Fetch quest, harvesting/gathering and killing mobs, but it's all done with beautiful graphics. All hail the Skywhale!

I frequent some really great free-to-play MMO news websites that put out YouTube videos every week of the new developments and releases of strictly free-to-play games, although most of them have elements like a cash shop, or premium status for extra things. That's mostly what FTP means nowadays, "free... but... pay us money for the good stuff."
Anyway, these websites are how I find all of my recent FTP games, plus Steam ftp category.
    Enjoy and good luck!

SWTOR is a fun F2P game. However, if you play for free there are restrictions on things such as how many Warzones/Instances you can do, but you can at least get through the whole story if you are F2P.

LOTRO is another good F2P game I recommend you take a look out, especially if you're into LOTR lore.
