What game got you most excited and hyped that you can't wait to get it? For me it was Ghostbusters on the 360. I've waited over 20 years for a Ghostbusters game to deliver the experience of the movies. When the game got announced, I was ecstatic. I waited for two years before the game was finally released because Activision dropped the game before being picked up by Atari.

I have never been hyped for a game just because when you do that it only leads to disappointment, but I would probably get excited if they made another "Tokyo Xtreme Racer" series, but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

The game I was most hyped about was Skyrim, back in 2011. When I finally got the game, and started it up and when the title theme started to play, I literally bounced through the house, shouting Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin and singing the title song. :D

The game I was most hyped about was Thief but now I am a bit disappointed because it has only 9 hours of gameplay. It's not what I expected at all. I expected a hard, and really stealthy game but in this game you can just run up to guards and hit them with your arrows.

I quite like the new Thief honestly. Before I got the game I thought it was meh at best. Maybe it's because I had no hype for the game at all so I didn't have any expectation and ended up liking the game.

The game I am so anticipating that I hype it the most is Phantasy Star Online 2. It is not yet released here in the Southeast Asian region, so I have actually yet to experience this kind of situation.

I have heard a lot of negative criticism about the game. I have not bought it yet, but from what people are saying, I will wait until the price drops, before getting it. 9 hours of gameplay is very short in my opinion, for the price they charge you.

I overhyped Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The Chinese Room focused a little too much on the story and not enough on the psychological scares. The storytelling was great because that's what they specialize in but I never felt scared while playing. It was as if the monsters weren't actual threats and I was just following a straight path throughout the game.

Was it actually any good? I loved the movies as a kid. I can only imagine the game to be pretty fun.

The game came out on PC as well, although it was extremely hard on that platform, due to a very glitchy camera. They fixed it with patches I think, but I have not played the game since launch. My first impression though, were great. It looked very nice and the story seemed interesting enough. Definitely worth a shot if you like the franchise.

The only game I had ever hyped about was Super Street Fighter II for the Sega Mega Drive. It was THE GAME of the decade for me. I saw it in the arcade and I JUST HAD TO have it on the SMD.

Ever since my youthful days, I haven't hyped much about anything else. No point really. I mean, there are games that I wish would happen sooner than later, but I don't really talk about it much.

The same is true for me as well. Even though most of them are very glitchy at launch, story and presentation-wise all of Obsidian`s games are totally awesome, and I`m hyped for any game that they announce. They even managed to make an awesome South Park RPG. Obsidian is the new Bioware for me.

The most recent hype was my long wait for Uncharted 3. I had to have it and spent my days counting down until it's release. I was so incredibly excited and I wasn't disappointed! :D

When I was younger I hyped for Gta san andreas. I was something like 10 or 11 when I got it and played it like every day.

Dragon Age Inquisition (which is so close now I can taste it!). I was pretty excited for Mass Effect releases too, but nothing like this. Though, in a bizarre twist of events, I'm leaving the country to travel on the very day it's released, for two weeks. I almost wrote "unfortunately, I'm going on travel" - yes, poor me, my privilege is inconveniencing me.

I would say one of the games I hyped for was Ark Survival. It had good features in it in my opinion.

Street fighter for me, specially the world warrior era. I use to go malls to compete and have fun on arcade centers. This was those days that people gather around when two players compete. I love challenges specially when my opponent is as good as i am;).

Alien isolation. I think that game is worth playing. It seems like a good game. And something I am sure many would like to play. There seems to be lot of hype. And I didn't found a way to play this game.
