First, I'd like to know, what kind of PC are you gaming on? Feel free to post your build list. I'll post mine below.
Secondly, what graphics do you run your games on?

I can run any game on max settings. Ultra, extreme, or whatever the highest on everything is.

    Rosewill Thor v2 (White)
    Intel 4770k
    Asrock z87
    Asus STRIX-GTX 980
    Corsair CX750 Power Supply
    Corsair h100i Water Cooler
    8GB RAM G Skill DDR3 1433mhz
    Crucial MX100 512GB SSD
    OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD
    OCZ Agility 2 60GB SSD
    250GB HDD

ASUS VS247H-P 23.8" Monitor (I run two of them)
    Logitech G710 Keyboard
    Qisan Crotalus 5-Button Mouse
    Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound
Steel Series Siberia v2 (White) Headset
    Logitech C920 Webcam

(My husband's build is even better. Ask and I'll post it too.)

My configuration is not as high as yours but it still works for me anyway.

What settings do you usually use? This is the best computer I've built. In the past, I've had to deal with lowest setting possible.

That's a powerful system no doubt, and it beats mine GPU, but it's not going to get Ultra settings on higher resolutions (2K, 4K) for a game like Crysis 3 or BF4. Then again, nobody wants to spend thousands of dollars just on GPUs to run at those higher resolutions.

The 4K monitors aren't worth it, honestly. They cap at about 60 fps unless you lower the resolution. If you lower it, what's the point?
We got my husband a 1080p monitor that runs at 144hz and can actually cap at higher. Much better purchase than a 4k monitor.

I think your settings are okay but have it in mind that the more the memory the better.

I'm not very knowledgeable with these things but I do like to run my games with the highest settings possible so I saved up for a desktop that my friend who works for Garena and got me an Alienware desktop last year.

    4th Gen Intel Core i5
    Geforce GTX 750Ti 2Gb DDR5
    16 Gig RAM
    2TB SATA HDD
    29" Dell UltraSharp Monitor

We also had them install a separate cooling system attached to the sliding panel just to be sure it won't overheat since we play for long hours.
