    My Garry's Mod playtime is 2194 hours. DarkRP was the second gamemode I tried, after Sandbox Buildservers. DarkRP can tend to get too pointless, and sometimes impossible, as it almost always is bunched with mingebags who wants to instantly shoot you and take your money and money printers. It's not roleplay at all, it's just moneywars. BUT if you do like DarkRP, but think that it is too small-minded, I suggest that you check out Fearlessrp.net.

    So far, they have the two most successful servers that I have ever seen in Garry's Mod, ever. It's like DarkRP, just with a very serious and skilled admin-team, who have no mercy on you if you break the rules. The servers uses two bigger maps: Evocity_v2d and the v33x version of Evocity, and the two servers are almost always full: 50 players on each server. The content of the server is HUGE, but it's worth it to download and install! They've got a bigger variety of weapons, as well as medical supplies, food, even fishing rods and other equippments, and biggest of all: They've got cars! Very expensive cars. Cars that you save in your inventory, and they have gas that you must refill at gas stations. I spent a lot of time there, and if you're interested, maybe I can play with you on that server sometime and show you how it works?

    Other than that, I must suggest Trouble In Terrorist Town (TTT), Jailbreak, Half-Life 2 Roleplay (HL2RP), Severance Roleplay (ZombieRP) and the list goes on.. :p

    I think I've mentioned this before on the forum, but there's actually a Metro2033 serious roleplay going on with two servers in Garry's Mod. One server is in the Metro, the other on the surface. This video isn't from the hosters of those two servers, though, but just to show you what the cinematics can be like in the game:

    theres also a mod called "parkour mod" it's what I spent most of my time (after messing around&building) on this game, really cool, requires some skills aswell

    ^Looks a lot like Prototype, really. I've seen servers with Parkour mode, but never really tried them out. Looks cool though :)
