    Okay guys, THQ is giving away 10 gasmasks! Ask an original and intelligent question in the thread below and you'll be in the draw. Please read the details below.

    This contest is open to US residents only.
    The contest is open from 15th October to 31 October, 2012.
    All judge decisions are final.

    Does the question have to related to the gas mask? If so, what period/type of gas mask are they based on?

    If not, when will we learn about the multiplayer DLC information?

    (The second question is my true question, but if it has to pertain to the gas masks, then the first is what to go with.)

    That will depend on the type of the gas mask. :lol: However, I think most of the classic-style gas masks actually make you look a bit thinner. But then there's the M10, which - although doesn't really make you look fat - it does have a slightly bulky appearance like the ranger mask from Metro 2033.

    We have seen the return of some characters already, (Khan and Andrew the Blacksmith,) but will Miller be making a return? He was left wounded by the end of Metro 2033, but without his help Artyom would never have reached his goal. If he is in Last Light, can you give us any insight as to what role he will play?

    I was reading over the QA unregistered, and thought I'd drop in and ask my own question.

    I think, the one thing I love most about Metro 2033 (and I loved a lot of things) is that there were places where you could slow down and just appreciate the world setting Artyom was a part of. It did wonders for the immersion, and helped me get a better feel for the character and his home. Good examples would be right after you first enter D6, the wonderful train rides, standing atop the tower in the end, etc. Those little moments that encourage the player to sit back and simply take in the sights and sounds.

    Will we be seeing more segments in Metro: Last Light that let us slow down and appreciate the environment you guys are working so hard on, or do you expect the game to be more frenetic and action-packed for the player? Or will there perhaps be more of both chaotic and "calm" moments in general?

    The engine is said to be future proof and looks great on pc so what sacrifices will be made in order for the game to run on consoles as a posed to pc.
