    i heard somewhere that you can also get an rpk if you pre order from a certain store/website, does anyone know what shop it was and how much it costs ( for the UK )

    It was supposed to be a GameStop exclusive (They still claim it's in though) before THQ went belly up, just like the DShK obrez initially was in M2033.

    It stayed exclusive for about a week until the russian community modded it back in for all versions of the game.

    Wouldn't a GPMG be kind of useless considering metros setting?

    As far as I can tell AKS-74U and RPK-74 are supposed to be in the game, you just get them early with the pre-order.

    Well, for everyday metro life I'd say no. But they do have their uses in the metro setting; Guarding stations or any defensive post. Insane suppressive and affective fire against anything.

    "Ten" carried an LMG as his primary weapon during a surface mission.

    Well I think that was dropped but you do get a AKU from pre-ordering. And a LMG is amazing in the Metro settings. Look at all the guard posts they have LMGs everywhere. They're perfect for defending. Hell you use a few LMGs in 2033!
