Going to Poland

    I'm going to Poland tomorrow for ten days. I most likely won't have access to the internet whilst there as I'll be on the move and in different places, so don't expect to see a lot of activity from me in that period of time. However, I will post here during that time if I ever get a chance to. If not, then see yous all in ten days... well, not see in person, but you know what I mean.

    Just got my hands on a PC with a stable connection the internet at my friend's house, so... HERE I AM! :wacko: I might come back to this dark, dark place known as the forum. Or I might not - depending on how much free time I'll have.

    Oh btw, Skaara, there's plenty of huge melons in Poland. Unfortunately, it would be a bit weird if you wore sunglasses here at this time of the year.

    I was thinking of using that pic, but I couldn't be bothered to look for it. Thanks! :p Also, unfortunately, it is still illegal to smoke weed in Poland... though fortunately, we do have a politicial party here which aims to legalize it and there's plenty of youth who would happily support it. Thus the party is becoming increasingly popular. ;)

    'Round here there is Christiania, where people who don't fit in society lives. There you can easily buy weed or whatever, but the thing is, police will be standing just on the other side of the bridge when you leave, and marijuana is traceable in the blood up to 28 days after consumption, so you're basically fucked.
    Anyway I think side effects of marijuana aren't much worse than that of alcohol, and the state could make a shitload of money by distributing it. Just sayin'

    As you can all see, I got access to the internet again. I forgot to mention last time I was logged on that I bought a Polish copy of "Into the Darkness", which is a continuation of "Towards the Light" - both are novels from the Universe of Metro 2033 series. I can't wait to read it once I get back. :D I'm also thinking of taking some pictures of the Warsovian metro system and posting them on the forum when I'm back in England. Thought that would be a treat for all of you metro lovers here. :p

    I also have some bad news... I'm logging off now and I'm not checking the RP thread because... well, it's quite a lot. Once again, I'm tired (it's 2 o clock in the morning here) and I'm on holiday, so I can't be bothered right now; sorry! It will be back to normal when I get back from the holiday (I'm leaving this Tuesday).

    EDIT: It's very tempting to check the "Video Games" section of the forum, but I really have to go to sleep now. :lol:

    I came back on Tuesday like I said I would, but I haven't had a chance to log on since then until today. I've been busy with a lot of stuff both outside of and in school (including one exam and I have a second one coming up on Monday).
