Gold Making like the pros

    Hey everyone just wanted to see what kind of ways you were banking it in WOW. I have a few good schemes I actually used to live off farming gold for a good 6 months.

    My bread and butter was the "gem-stone shuffle" can't remember exactly what we called it. Basically you have 600 prospecting/JC buy ghost iron ore cheap (lots of it I had a macro and an auto-clicker even then it would take a good half hour to prospect it on auto-pilot) prospect it and then you could just sell the raw gems or you could make some rings and cut gems. I was easily bringing in 10k-20k a day just from this method. I rememHer one patch day I made 7k in under an hour of the server coming back up on a mid pop server.

    How are you making money? If I hear some good ones I'll let you guys have some of mine.

    Just farming, if I have the profession to turn the mat into something I do it.
    I sometimes check items on the AH and determine if they'd be good for flipping (buying and selling for more) but that's about it.

    For the most part, that's what I do, in addition to dailies and just selling what I make in JCing on the auction house. I'm more generous though than a lot of people on my server and give some of my mats and creations to the gb too.

    Farming is not really that hard, it just takes effort and some people never want to do that. I have been playing for years. Most people just don't want to try anything because they all want a quick buck. We all do really but I tend to play around with the auction house a good bit, plus I have just about every profession maxed at this point. :D

    I've actually had a good time farming Naxx for frostweave cloth. You just reset the plague quarter bats until you hit max times in an instance/hour. Between enchanting mats I get, greys that sell from 1-4 g/per, and the cloth I get, I generally make around 1kg in 20-30 minutes it takes to do the clears.

    I haven't made bank yet, but in most games I like to craft things. It's just a weird habit I have. I suppose this game won't be any different. I'll likely use the leather-working and skinning skill to my advantage and make items to sell in the marketplace or somewhere if I continue the game past the trial.

    I am not good with making money to be honest with you guys here. Most of what I make come from crafting and farming, but I am not a patient man, so not much money for me.

    I usually just sell the crap loot from dungeons/raids. I very rarely farm, and when I do, I do it in spots known by people, because I learn about them through Youtube/Google anyways.

    I just don't feel a dire need for huge sums of gold in this game.
