Sorry about not saying this earlier and being off since Saturday. I am on vacation with extremely limited internet. It took me 10 minutes to get to the point of making this thread. I'll be gone until Saturday or Sunday, so I'll be back within Monday hopefully. That is all.

Just givin' ya all a heads up, I'm going on another mountain-trip to the tallest mountain-chain in the whole Norway with a lot of friends, also going to climb an ice-berg! :D
I'll be gone from Wednesday morning til Friday or saturday, but may not even get on the forums until Monday. Tomorrow I'll be spending some hours at a cafè, at some other meeting and spend the evening packing for the trip. So TheStalker will keep you safe from all the spambots meanwhile.. (Hopefully), also with the rare help of Aaron :D
    So buh-bai, erryone!

Thanks, Odessa, I enjoy-........ It was nice :)
This has been the most amazing trip in my whole life. Never in my whole life have I been so exhausted and aching throughout my body.
The first day we walked for about three hours with 15-25kg backpacks, most of the time in darkness, and we saw a huge flock of about 20-40 reindeer. Set up tents at a horrible spot, but it was the best available. (In complete darkness and cold of course).

The second day we got up at 8AM, ate some breakfast and got moving. The first mountain top was a climb of 400 meters altitude, and it was a long way to walk. On the top, there was a cliff on the other side with the most amazing view over the gleizure (ice-mountain) and some other mountaintops as well as the valley we had camped in. After that, we walked alongside the gleizure, and there was a lot of mud and gravel and dirt around here and there, so there was not really any water that was crystal-clear like on my previous mountain-trip. THEN I found it. I very narrow tiny stream of crystal-clear water running down on crystal-blue ice, 100% pure. I filled my water bottle, and it was the best water I have ever tasted in my whole life. It was liquid ice, damnit!
After that, we walked back down the valley and across a lot of mountaintops along a mountainridge. It was a secondary (and longer) way back to the camp. Ironically, I forgot to eat the food in my backpack, so for the last 1/4th of that trip, I was extremely miserable. I just wanted to fall on my knees and puke and cry, it was cold, wet and horrible. I've never felt that bad in my whole life. But I made it to the camp, got some food and sleep. We had walked for eight hours, 21 kilometres, and an unknown ammount of altitude.

Next morning we got up at 8AM, and this day I felt fresh and ready. But this day, we didn't have downhills and straight forward between each mountaint-top, but we rather climbed constantly in altitude which was extremely exhausting. There wasn't a single downhill during the whole climb of 900 meters in altitude. When we arrived at the Gleizure named Glittertinden, we geared up with our extremely expensive gleizure-climbin equippment: Chest-harness with carabine hook, spike-thingies under our shoes, ice-axes and that looong rope between us. I wanted it to be difficult and dangerous, I even wanted to fall down a crack and be pulled up again. But sadly, it was an easy walk, but we did get to look down some deep ice-cracks. Then continued the climb up to the top of the mountain.
I'm not a person who usually brags, but I have to say that for a boy that has been a PC-slave for about four years, to climb Norway's second talles mountain which is 2464 meters above sea-level.... That's not bad, not bad at all. On the top, it was foggy and cloudy; we were pretty much in a cloud. That sucked, but within ten minutes of waiting, almost all the fog and clouds was gone and we had the most amazing view I have ever seen in my whole life of the gleizure and mountains and everything around us. The fact that the clouds went away meant that we also got signals on our cellphones, so we called wives and girlfriends and sent some pictures of the view and ourselves with the sun shining it all up. It only lasted for ten minutes before it was all covered in fog and clouds again. We were extremely lucky to get those ten minutes of view, what a great opportunity!

The way down, though..... That was pain. I had put too much pressure on my left leg, so my left knee was completely broken, aching and horrible everytime I barely bended it. So I had to keep it out straight the whole way down to the guest-cabin in the second valley. One of the guys carried my backpack, another gave me the longest ice-axe as support for my leg, and one of them even carried me for so long that I eventually got too tired in my arms to stay on his back  We took a lot of pictures, so I'm waiting to receive them at some time. We also slided down the gleizure on our feet, it went ten times faster and didn't hurt my knee because I could easily keep it stretched out. Two of the guys even sat down on some plastic and slided down the gleizure at extreme speed  Getting to that cabin with cake and sandwiches and soda and pretty girls..... that was sanctuary.

Then continued the walk home which went alright because the knee only hurt when walking downwards for some reason. We walked around the gleizure, so we only walked straight forwards and upwards to get back to the camp. The third day, my knee was still too bad so I had to skip that whole day's journey unfortunately. I packed all my stuff and walked to the car before the others got back, so I wouldn't slow them down on the way back to the cars. We changed into sweatpants and worn out clothes overall, with scruffy and filthy hair, smelling of gallons of sweat, bad breath, and walking like zombies and old hospital-patients because our bodies were aching so bad everywhere. We walked like that into McDonald's, we must've looked like a bunch of retarded people

All in all, it was a great trip. It was horrible at times, but a great experience. I also brought home a souvenir; a reindeer's lost antlers :D I'll upload some pictures sometime :)
