    My screen broke and now it shows everything with a pink tint... so yeah, that means I won't be able to use it without hurting my eyes. I've done a few tests, looked around on the internet and hurt my eyes considerably more. :p Thus I have come to the conclusion that there's something wrong with my monitor - not the cable and not the video card. Unfortunately, that will take a bit longer to replace (though I'm still happy it's not the GFX). This means no PC games, no internet, no RP thread and no metro forum for me until I get a replacement or somehow fix this. Thankfully, I still have plenty of PS3 games and books to keep me occupied in the meantime.

    I'll see yous later. I might log on Steam from time to time - to check out the sales and maybe get something for later, but for the most part I'll be staying away from my PC for most of this time until this gets sorted out. Goodbye until then.

    I had the same problem and it was the kable, but oh well.

    I'm back already. :) Turns out that it wasn't the monitor itself, but just the socket. I fixed that problem by getting a new cable today, which connects to the other DVI-D socket (thankfully, my monitor has two). Phew, that's a relief. Thought I was gonna have to spend over 100 quid on a new screen. Glad I didn't have to. The new cable cost me only 10 pounds. :lol:

    Btw, I know that I can use the net on my PS3, but I'm not a big fan of the default browser. It's quite limited compared to what I can to on the PC, especially considering the lack of a keyboard and I'm not good at typing fast with controller using the on-screen keyboard. ;) Anyway, I started playing Heavy Rain: Move Edition and got really hooked into it... so expect to not see me around on the forum that often anyway. I will keep posting though. :D

    glad to see it sorted. I don't like using the net on my PS3 either. can't get used to typing without a keyboard.
