Graffiti?

Depends what it says. Obviously, have abusive comments or racism isn't art. But sometimes there is some graffiti which is okay...

 

Depends where it is, what it is, and the reasons/motive behind it. Like, if it's a big mural on the wall of a building, done for a real reason, and with some thought actually gone into it, then maybe I can call it a kind of art...

But usually it's just some kids vandalising someone else's property 'because they can'. That's not art, just a way to be disrespectful or to try to rebel against something - usually authority or society in general, or because they had to do all their homework before bedtime. Or simply 'tagging' something because they think it's cool.

 

I would like to think, that it's art as long as they dont destroy somebody elses' property, wich is usually the case. And most people only use tags, instead of real drawings. But when they do use real drawings I would call that art, yes. ;P

 

This, most of the "Graffiti" is just rubbish but when it's realy nicely done and done with a mind of an artist, then yes it's art.
