I'm perfectly satisfied with the graphics that were included in the reveal trailer. If the finished game looks anything like that, then I'll be happy, considering the poor graphics we saw in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. What are your thoughts?

I'm not sure if the graphics we saw in the trailer were the in-game graphics.
If that's the case though, then I'm quite pleased. It's not really difficult to improve on the graphics of the previous games, so what I would really like to see is an improvement in facial animations.

In my case though, I'd prefer it if the game isn't very demanding, I don't really care about the graphics.
Mainly because my PC is "old", I built it in 2009, so I'm hoping against all hope that it will be able to run it :p I don't think it will though, since it will probably require a DX 11 capable GPU.

I hope we do get the graphics that were in the reveal trailer, those graphics looked pretty good.

I salute Bethesda for showing what they are really going to release instead of hyping things up like Ubisoft. I don't play Fallout or ES games for graphics anyway.

I'm not impressed at all. I KNOW what is possible and they are again playing to the average person who has a 5-10 year old PC. Not interested. I'll likely wait until the modders have created high res textures for everything in the game and mod it before I play.

If gaming is your passion them you need to be prepared to buy a new graphics card about every 1-1/2 years. If not, quit holding the rest of us back.

I think the graphics for Fallout 4 are going to be much better than the graphics for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but they could also use a little bit of improvement to them. I am not sure if these games are being developed by a startup that has a limited budget but I have seen better.

Well, poor graphics in F3 and New Vegas are because the games are quite old, and they were built on the same engine that was used to build Oblivion. Oblivion had a beautiful world, in terms of nice places to see and what not, and Oblivion had nice graphics, in my opinion, but Fallout 3 came a few years after that and it was kind of almost the same.

They're building Fallout 4 on a new or an improved engine, and I can say that I like the graphics a lot. They're not too great but they're not bad either. They're nice to look at, and that's what matters. After all, we want to be able to play the game with as much FPS as we can, and we want the game-play to be as good as it can be.

I like the graphics that I've seen in the videos and such so far. Will that be what the game actually looks like? I don't know, I hope so. Considering what I was seeing, I think that's what we'll be getting when the game is released.

I sure hope so, and I think that those will be the graphics. I hope they don't down-grade them or anything, like CD Projekt Red did with Witcher 3. The graphics they showed two years ago of Witcher 3 were better than the actual game when it was released. The same was with Watch Dogs. The game looked amazing at E3, and when it came out, it didn't even come close. But this is Bethesda. They don't make the best graphics for their games, especially the RPGs, but what you see is what you get. No more, no less.

Even if the game looks the exact same as it did in New Vegas or even Fallout 3, I'd be happy as long as the game was as fun as the past games! It's not about the graphics.

Yeah but the game itself deserves a better look

I agree. I wouldn't want to see the graphics downgraded. And, though the content of the story matters it's also important that you like how the game looks. I really just want to enjoy both the game and the aesthetics of the game myself.

From what I've seen from the release trailer and the game play videos, the graphics look pretty dang good. I think it's massively better then how the old FO3 and FO:NV looked. (Then again FO3 was released in 2008, so there's about a seven year difference between games. Which is huge.)

The graphics are really really good in my opinion. Much better then even Skyrim`s. But they stated that the game will run on an updated Creation Engine, so no wonder.

Yes, I agree the graphics we can see in the trailer for Fallout 4 are way better than for Fallout 3, and that makes me even more excited for the game. I can't wait to buy it and play it for the first time, I think that I will be satisfied with it. :D

I loved the graphics I saw in the trailer! I just hope that my graphics card will allow me to experience Fallout 4 without having to compromise my gaming experience. I am considering saving up for a new computer just so I can get the full experience.

What people forget is that Bethesda never was a studio for graphics...all of their games had above avg. graphics at best. i personally think it looks pretty good and don't understand what people's problems are.

Also take a look at how Skyrim can look now with ENBs and all that jazz. I might be wrong but I think it's easier to create some high res textures and visual effects than get content in there.

Thank you! People were all trashing the quality of the graphic when I like how they went with it. Upgraded them a bit but not over the top the game has always been about the game play and story anyway.

I think that people jumped on the hate wagon too early, If you compare the fallout 4 graphics to the Fallout 3 or New Vegas you will notice a major improvement. I think most people were blinded by nostalgia and remembered the previous fallout graphics better than they actually were. I agree that the graphics are not spectacular but they are more than enough for a 2015 AAA title.

I think the graphics are really good, but they could've definitely worked more on them. That being said, I really think it's going to be an amazing game when it comes out and I can't wait to try it. It requires a powerful PC to run everything on ultra, so I hope the graphics will be good!
