    Hello all,

I began playing Swtor for the first time over the weekend. Got myself a Sith Inquisitor. I left the starter planet and got the the ship. I was supposed to go see someone to turn in a quest, but the floors and walls in the corridor were missing. I Saw people walking past the space gap. I tried to do the same, and just fell through space. I googled the hell out of the issue. Updated my Video Card driver. Tried to run a repair. And when I logged in, I was still in the same situation.

I uninstalled and reinstalled before bed, but won't know if it was a successful repair till I get home today. So in essence, this is a proactive question.

Has anyone encountered this or are aware of anyone who may have had this happen? The best I found was it is potentially corrupted files, hence my re-install .

Well it has happened to me also but it was briefly, the game loaded after a little while.

Did you try to create a new char to see if that works? even if you don't intend to play the char, it might fix a problem by loading a different part of the game.

Alternatively you can try and add your computer speccs etc.. there are some pretty computer savy persons on this forum, altough you may need to open a post on the computer forum instead as I'm not sure they visit this part

What graphics card are you using?

If you are on a laptop and the graphics card is integrated with the processor/motherboard then chances are there's not much you can do. Intel's ones are pretty crap, get a Radeon or GeForce.

The Intel 4000 and the one's integrated into the i7 graphics cards are actually pretty decent and they're not dedicated. If he has a laptop then it will be extremely hard to swap the video card, he's better just buying a new computer.
