The best creation I have ever made using redstone would have to be the self repairing wall that was 20 x 20. I mean it was basically a proto type that I never really did finish. On my friends map he set up a cannon and constantly blew it up from affair and then it would rebuild itself using a Water/Lava piston system. It was pretty cool.

That really sounds interesting! *generic comment*... Lol... the thing is, I really have a hard time coming up with such things. Only things I made out of redstone were basic traps and once a small system to hide myself from enemies.

I agree with Lolman112, it amazes me how people can great such things with redstone. All I have done is fill the floor of a house with A LOT of TNT, wire it up with redstone so that when the person enters the house he steps on a switch and then the house goes BOOM!

The greatest redstone creation I have seen is not a machine, but a calculator, I seriously can't imagine what had to be done to create this:

Though the video is quite bit old and there may be easier ways to create a calculator now, it's still amazing! Who goes into Minecraft and thinks "Oh, I know what I am going to build! A calculator!"?

The calculator is so mind blowing. I would never of figured out how to do that. I never knew you could create such cool stuff like that on Minecraft.

Ever since slimeblocks were introduced into modpacks, people have been going crazy with them. Here is an example of a slimeblock contraption. Its simple but amazing

It is just amazing to see what people can come up with and build in Minecraft with redstone. Unfortunately, I am not as gifted if it comes to redstone as these guys. Because of this, I don't really incorporate redstone in my Minecraft games. So I don't really have a greatest redstone creation, since I don't use redstone. If only I was able to do things similar to the things showed in the videos above...

I know! It just makes you wonder when will people create Windows or Mac OS X with just redstones :p Minecraft's redstone allows people to understand how circuits work and that is a major benefit that a person can get, it can inspire someone to become an Electrical Engineer.

I made a very basic music track with a shitload of noteblocks. It was really fun but sadly I didn't really do it myself, since I just copied it from a YouTube video.

I once made a large scale automatic wheat farm that gave me enough food to last my entire Minecraft career, it was awesome. I don't quite remember how I made it though since it has been so long, a lot of the different redstone techniques have changed from back then (2011) too.

The best construction that I've ever seen with redstone it's a complex music track that served to imitate the mentioned sound. It was really awful, I never thought that redstone could be used for doing something so impressive and greater. It was also impressive the inside of the construction, it was like a very difficult and worked system.
I've also seen systems like 'domino chains' that were also really impressive and fun at all.
And the best creation ever made with redstone by myself was a switch for a door. It was pretty cool.

I have to say I am very proud of my redstone doors in my house. They took ages to make, and are perfect for hidden rooms.

to be my first mini game. Even though it wasn't that great, it lead me to want to make more games.

It was a zombies ate my neighbors (SNES game) remake. I had villagers as the "neighbors" and then zombies would try to get in their houses and the way it works is when they get in the house the villager would die, if you save the villager they go into a safe room where the zombies moved on because they couldn't reach them. At the end once all the villagers were dead or saved the door would light up, you walked through the door, and it would tp you to a room where it shows you all the villagers you saved. Then it restarts the game.

Someone once built a very large computer out of redstone. I think pretty much takes it.

Yeah, the computer had over 33,000? Blocks, if I remember correctly. You could type /commands into it and they would trigger in the real world.

I can hook up an ir
I'm with you. Except I can hook up an iron door and a pressure pad like no one's business.

I won't ever make a calculator or anything that's just as complicated, but I can tell you I'm damn proud of my redstone elevator.

Personally, I think my best creation would be a 3x3 door. Fully automatic with the click of a button. Well, it's not necessarily my creation. I followed a tutorial to create it.

If there's a button involved, then isn't it technically not fully automatic?
