    Hiya ladies and gentlemen. I'm new around these parts having just began to look into a new game to occupy my time. I noticed a lot of hype for GW2 and thought when it came out I'd give it a shot. Of course, I didn't really want to go in without having first acquainted myself with a community. Your website drew me in and after browsing your forums a bit I figured I'd register. :)

    About Me:
    • Turned nineteen years old five days ago.
    • Loves writing. Original stuff more than fan fiction.
    • Favorite contemporary book series is The Hunger Games (to which I have much hype for the movie release next year).
    • Favorite modern film is (500) Days of Summer followed shortly by Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
    • Favorite old(er) film is The Big Lebowski.
    • Loves listening to two things: rain and the acoustic guitar; I'm a huge fan of Newton Faulkner and I appreciate Jack Johnson's music.
    • Plays beach volleyball as an outside hitter or libero.
    • Runs and instructs a collegiate parkour club.
    • Plays video games on the 360 sometimes.
    • Favorite food is home-cooked lasagna.
    • Five or six years ago I dabbled very briefly in the original GW though ended up playing WoW, achieving the maximum level cap of 60 of the time and having volunteered briefly to work as a GM on the Stormreaver PvP server.
    • Used to play an online tactical MMORPG called Dofus.
    • Likely to play a Human Thief or Sylvan Ranger when the game comes out.

    Not much else I could think of! Anyways, now you all know a ton of stuff about me - now I'm hoping to hear from all of you!

    Hello!! Welcome :) It's good to have you. Our forums are still new but we are indeed growing! We're doing all that we can to promote the forums.
    Dude i been looking for new movies to watch & you just gave me two new movies i haven't seen before ( just googled them ) TYVM * torrents ;) *
    Thanks for sharing a little about yourself! The website is still going through updates and more content is being added :) We're first gonna finish up writing overviews for the professions. Currently a brief one is out for the mesmer, warrior & elementalist. However these are an overview and exactly that. Its meant to help out new players gain some basic knowledge and a lot is subject to change due to the game being unreleased but we'll update them asap.

    Its called Wakfu now, and is almost in open beta state. I enjoyed Dofus too, check it out.

    Ahah, I promise you won't regret it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an awesome actor and Zooey Deschanel is absolutely captivating. (500) Days of Summer is a phenomenal [sort of] romantic comedy. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World plays an amazing homage to closet nerds everywhere. Hilarious game-type humour, fun effects throughout the movie, and a love story that's actually action packed and enjoyable to watch unfold. Plays out like a movie video game. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the content evolve as the website grows!

    Haha, interesting name choice then. :) A long time ago World of Warcraft despite being run by one of the most successful corporations was in demand for volunteer Gamemasters. World of Warcraft houses tens of servers and to facilitate the overwhelming support needed they had an ad out on their website looking for people interested. One of the servers listed was Stormreaver, my home server. It was an e-mail interview that was reviewed followed by an in-game training regiment and finally a two week probation to see how I fared. Needless to say, the two weeks passed, and I left the assignment only a few weeks after due to a heavy workload and responsibility that was forced on me by the game. And I will take your vote to heart!


    Thank you very much Shield. You guys obviously put a great deal of effort into it and it shows. I applaud the effort - bravo. :)


    Wakfu is a completely separate game with different mechanics. Sadly it does not play out to be as fun as Dofus despite being much prettier and offering a lot of other additions sans the combat. In fact I would go far as to say that earlier on it is very bland and difficult to get started compared to Dofus. But I am glad to see another player! What server did you hail from?
