    Group rewards always encourage players.

Grouping creates community. Soloing destroys community. Group reward is not there.

You like to play in group or solo?

In today's mmo, anyone - no matter class, race, or creed - can easily solo to max level. In classic Eq (and I'm probably repeating what you already know), some classes could solo very well, some not so well or maybe not at all. And for the ones that could solo, they couldn't do everything. I was quad kiting lvl 50+ raptors in Timorous Deep on my druid, but I would have got my ass kicked if I went down in Lower Guk alone. IF the author is in fact talking about this type of system which required grouping to do anything special - I'm all for it.
