Who's played the new gunner class? Thoughts and opinions?

I was less than enthusiastic once I saw it was gender and race locked. While it was fun to shoot things, I wasn't really fond of the playability - not that it was bad, it just doesn't match my play style.

I do think it would be a huge asset in a group, though. I would love to see someone who knows that class to run a dungeon with me.

I haven't tried it yet, and I hadn't heard great things about it or anything that makes me want to try out gunner. I feel like I'll feel how you do after trying out the class, so I may just avoid it so that I never have to find out.

I have tried gunner, I like gunners, however they are a bit overpowered. My gunner is only in the 30's however I have been able to duo (and who knows I might have been able to solo) the first 2 dungeons in the game. As for later content, my husband had said they are too overpowered and they hit hard and are able to dodge a lot with their roll skill if they have it glyphed.
