    Wow seriously? who knew they would stop taking pre orders. That is only free money.
    It takes a ton of buyers to make a seller stop selling a DIGITAL product.

    How can you sell out 'digital' copies!? Anet must be fine with the amount of money they got and dont want to be greedy, corporate d-bags like Blizzard... Either that, or they dont want their servers to blow up with the 10 million plus ppl cramming in around noon.

    Just think about this from a marketing standpoint. Imagine running a business where you turn people away for a few weeks/month or more. You say, "I have enough orders now, we are sold out". When you decide to flip the spigot back on you have to go back to your customer and say, "were taking orders again".

    This is just is crazy. I can't imagine they planned for this kind of volume or this would be a scheduled "out of stock" notice. They must be worried about their server bandwidth 2 weeks after PREORDER. again, crazy...

    Curious to see when they'll be back in stock.. Maybe they want you to place collector orders only :D or maybe they have a limit on the amount of people they can support in the beta. Don't know..

    I think that they'll probably open it up again to allow people to pre-purchase, but as Unknown said, it may be something to do with how many people they can support in the beta. I do recall ArenaNet saying that they will close Pre-purchase for awhile at some point, but then would open it up again later, but I can't remember where. :/

    They needed a stopping point because of the whole "Pre-Purchase gives you access to weekend beta" thing. Once this weekends over (Or maybe even halfway through it once they see some real numbers), purchasing will become available again I'm sure.
