Hardcore mode.

I love playing this mode, difficult for the first couple hours but after that its joyful! I do prefer a more relaxed mode though.

 

Hardcore is not that hard actually. It's just the difficulty hard, and you can't respawn when you died. The world will be deleted, or you'll be banned from the server if you're in multi-player. When I played the first time, a creeper spawned behind my back in my house and blown everything up.

 

I love this difficulty mode, BUT I hate how the entire world is destroyed after. I wish there is an option where I only have one life and I have to start all over again, but allow it so the world can still be used. It just means my inventory and placed chests gets wiped out.

 

For myself, I have no reason to want to play in Hardcore mode. I find too much happiness in building to want to see it go up in smoke if I accidentally die. I just get too emotionally attached to my creations, I guess.

 

I stay away from hardcore mode. I'm simply not a good enough player to survive. Hell , sometimes when I'm playing by myself I turn on peaceful mode. I hope my friends don't find out I do this though

 

I hate it, perma death is only good if you keep the same world, otherwise where is the record of all your achievements?

 

Never touched it and probably never will. I don't really get a thrill from playing a game where I could lose everything at any moment.

 

I don't often play the hardcore mode, I'm much more of a relaxed builder.

 

I like to hop in to this mode just get myself a challenge. It becomes a real survival game after turning hardcore mode on!

 

I'm the same way. Even though, I don't really play creative mode, I enjoy surviving but I don't want to lose my whole world when I die from falling off a cliff or some other stuff like that.

 

I can see the appeal, but it's just not for me. I would be devastated if I invested a ton of time into a map, only to lose it all to a simple mistake and then have nothing to show for it.

 

I played on Hardcore mode only once with my sister and we were both really surprised at how actually easy it was. We were pretty much playing as normal, but with a tiny bit of caution. When my sisters boyfriend joined us, and then promptly died, she deleted the world. I got a bit sad, because some work went into it nevertheless, but I got over it. We then agreed to never play on Hardcore mode ever again. It's just not worth it.

 

I still have yet to try it. Next time I play Minecraft I am going to try it out. It seems like the perfect world for me.

 

Yeah, you should really give Hardcore mode a try! it will surprise you pleasantly.

 

I love it. It adds a whole new feeling of danger to the game. You learn to value your character and do things a lot more carefully.

 

Ha, I had no idea that if you played it on a server it would ban you. That's hilarious. I've played it in survival and it's just faster paced. Not too bad once you get used to it. I like normal though for the most part.

 

I've tried hardcore survival before. When I got bored of everything else, I tried out hardcore survival. I loved it for a month or two, until I died. I hate hardcore since that day. All my buildings were destroyed just like that. I guess I shouldn't have been playing it at all, if I wasn't prepared to lose my world.

 

Never really played it..I think I tried it a couple times but never really succeeded in making a livable world, I'm sure I could if I was more careful and thought things out better, but I like to just be able to relax and play without having to constantly worry.
