Have you already killed the Ender dragon in your world?

I have never killed the dragon in any of my worlds! I used to play a lot of Minecraft before the implementation of the End, so I didn't really have the possibility to kill it! I've recently started a new singleplayer world and am slowly gathering resources in preparation for the big fight.

To be honest, killing the Ender dragon is not so important for me, as there is not much to do in the End. Have you tackled the big black dragon living in the End yet? How did you manage it?

In my current world, no. When I kill the enderdragon, I like to be as absolutely prepared as possible with the best enchanted armor and weapons, even if it might be a bit unnecessary to be so overpowered for a rather simplistic fight.

Yeah, I spent a couple of hours just grinding for lots of EXP levels, so that I could enchant my weapons and armour with the best possible enchantments so that I didn't die.

I find it is a waste of time to kill the ender dragon because it is mainly spam arrows into it, then you win. The end should have been more fleshed out and fun, not an artificial ending just to say that Minecraft has some kind of ending. I prefer to spend my time building things in survival rather than fighting the ender dragon.

It was a really boring fight, so I never really bothered to do it again. But yes I have already killed the Ender Dragon.

I don't think a sandbox game like Minecraft should have had an ending. It's open world. I want to just play and play and play. I get bored sometimes but that is what mods are for.

I have never actually killed the Ender Dragon in my own single player world. I do however have killed it in multiplayer servers.

I usually don't bother in single player, it's more fun if I'm with one of my friends trying to do it.

I don't play singleplayer as much and when I do I never get as far as to find an actual portal anyway. I know how to prepare for it, but I've never actually gone to the stronghold. I've played since Alpha 1.2 and the game has changed tremendously.

Yeah, me and most of my friends just play on my server, so we don't really play single player anymore :p

Well, it doesn't have a real ending, does it? the End is just a fun thing to have, a prank to play on the players, saying the game would end once you kill the dragon. Minecraft still is a game with no ending if you ask me.

Well it's not really an ending, just a way to finish the game if you get bored enough, but Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities so I don't see why people should stop playing after you've killed the Ender Dragon.

I've never killed the Ender Dragon myself but I've watched videos so I'm satisfied :D
I think it's way too time consuming to try and do that.

Time consuming? I don't think so. If you play on a world long enough, even without the intention of killing the dragon, you have a lot of diamonds, brewing stands and supplies for potions. It's easy to enchant some diamond armor with your mob grinder close by, perhaps enchant a bow too and you are ready to go!

My survival world doesn't even have a mob grinder :p Maybe that's the next thing I should try building into it.

I only got the game a week or so ago, so no I haven't. I've heard it's quite cool though from my friends that have had the game for years now. I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like as I wouldn't let them spoil anything for me.

Current world no, but I've done it before. Also bed strats for that fight are great.

I find killing the Ender Dragon really boring. You're going to prepare as if you're going to war just to fight a boss with a tedious method of defeating it (destroying the healing towers and spam arrows at it).

It's way too arduous for me to gather everything I need in order to defeat the dragon. I'd rather just keep playing and building. No need to rush to the end. I only have one friend who attempted it, but he just gave up because of the sheer amount of boredom.

Bed strats? What are those? I've been playing minecraft for three years and have no idea what you are talking about. Would you care briefly explaining?
